1) Provide medical facilities to serving / retired employees

2) Prepare medical case records of staff

3) Advise medicines, investigations, treatment modalities, etc.

4) Attend to emergency accident / incident cases before shifting them to hospitals

5) Conduct Pre-employment medical examination

6) Conduct medical examination for re-employment / contractual employment for

retired employees

7) Conduct periodic medical examination including weight checks for Crew

8) Conduct pre-flight / post-flight medical examination

9) Any other related assignment

(D) AGE LIMIT: (as on December 01, 2017)

Candidate should not be more than 62 years of age as on December 01, 2017.

(E) SELECTION PROCEDURE:

After scrutiny of applications, candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria, will be intimated by e-mail to appear for Personal Interview, which will be held at Mumbai. Such selected candidates will have to undergo Pre-Employment Medical Examination, for which they will have to bear the cost, including cost of any additional tests, if required.

(F) EMOLUMENTS: Contractual Doctor will be paid Rs.65,000/-per month break-up of

which, is as under : Remuneration : Rs. 59,800/- Conveyance : Rs. 5,200/

(G) The post also carries other benefits such as Leave, Medical and Air Passages, as applicable.

iv. Applications received late / incomplete / unsigned / mutilated or without any of the supporting documents with regard to Eligibility Criteria, Demand Draft (if applicable), will be rejected. Air India will not be responsible for any postal delay / loss of any documents during transit.

(I) GENERAL:

i. Reservation in posts and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates will be as per Government of India Rules.

ii. Applicants serving in Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertakings should apply through proper channel. (NOC must be submitted with the Application).

iii. Retired employees of Air India and its subsidiaries will not be considered in this advertisement, but may be considered as per prevailing Company Policy for engagement of such personnel.

iv.

The Management reserves the right to modify / change the conditions / requirement / number of posts, based on the actual need, at any point of time in future.

v.

Please note that the Fixed Term Engagement on contract will only be up to the age of 65 years. (For example, if any candidate of 62 years of age will apply for the post and gets selected, his Fixed Term Engagement will be up to the age of 65 years only).

vi. The position is based at Mumbai. Company does not provide any accommodation and transportation. Selected Candidates will have to arrange their accommodation / transportation, at their own cost.

vii. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

viii. At any stage of the Selection Process, in case it is detected that the particulars provided by the candidate in the Application Form or testimonials supplied, are found to be incorrect / false or the candidate does not meet with any of the Eligibility Criteria prescribed for the post, or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her application shall be treated as NOT ELIGIBLE and his / her candidature will stand rejected, without giving any reasons thereof.
