Appointment of Specialist (Medicine, Radiology, Psychiatry, Surgical & Anaesthesia) and General Duty Medical Officers in Composite Hospital, BSF Kadamtala and other Units/Establishment under North Bengal Frontier on contractual basis

Remuneration: -Consolidated remuneration per month will be as under:-

SPECIALIST Rs. 85,000/- For whole period of contract
GDMO Rs. 75,000/-

Age: -Candidates should not be more than 67 years of age on the date of interview.

Initial Contractual Appointment will be for 03 years which may be extended for further 02 years on year to year basis subject to the maximum age cap of 67 years. The specialist medical officer will be working at CH BSF Kadamtala and the General Duty Medical Officer will be working at Units/Establishment under North Bengal Frontier.

Selection will be on WALK IN INTERVIEW basis to be held at Composite Hospital, Kadamtala, PO Kadamtala, Distt Darjeeling (WB) wef. 27th Nov to 01st Dec 2017 and appointment will be subject to medical fitness.

Walk in Interview -No TA/DA is admissible for the interview. Suitable and willing candidates may WALK IN FOR INTERVIEW wef. 27th Nov to 01 Dec 2017 at Composite Hospital, BSF, PO Kadamtala, Distt Darjeeling (WB) along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents (like Graduate & Post Graduate Degree, MCI/State medical council registration, age proof and experience certificate etc.) and also submit an application in plain paper superscripting the name of the post applied for and five passport size recent photographs.

Educational/professional qualification for the posts are as under:-

Specialist Doctors

(a)
A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the Third schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II or the Third schedules should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(b)
Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of schedule VI or equivalent.
(c)
1 years experience for the Post Gradate Degree holder & 2 years for Diploma holder in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

Educational/professional qualification for the posts are as under:-

General Duty Medical Officer

(a)
A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the Third schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II or the Third schedules should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(b)
Completion of compulsory rotating internship.

Medical Examination -Immediately after interview on the same day the candidates will be medically examined by a Board of Medical Officers. Appointment will be subject to medical fitness.

Place of Posting -

Selected candidates for Specialist Medical Officer will be posted in CH BSF Kadamtala and candidate selected for GDMos post will be posted at various locations i.e. Raninagar (Jalpaiguri), Baikunthpur (Salugara), Patiram (D/Dinajpur) and Khagra Camp (Kishanganj)

Border Security Force propose to engage male and female Specialist doctor (Gen Medicine, Radiologist, Psychiatrist, Surgeon & Anaesthesia) in CH BSF Kadamtala purely on contractual basis as per the following terms & conditions :

  1. Remuneration -The consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 85,000/-per month. The contractual appointee will not be entitled to any other allowance, benefits or concessions as admissible to Govt. employees.

  2. Age Candidates should not be more than 67 years of age on the date of interview.

  3. Total period of contract will be five years or till the appointee attains the age of 67 years. However initial Contractual Appointment will be for 03 years which may be extended for further 02 years on year to year basis subject to the maximum age cap of 67 years. Thereafter, the contract will lapse automatically. However, the appointment can be terminated at any time by giving one months notice (on either side) without assigning any reason by paying/refunding one months salary. The selection is purely contractual in nature and does not counter any right for regularization or permanent absorption.

  4. Leave -The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed as per DoP&T O.M. No. 12016/3/84-Estt(L) dated 12th April 1985 and O.M. , as amended from time to time.
