ADVERTISEMENT FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST-SERB (Govt. of India, New Delhi) sponsored research project [File No: ECR/2015/000444] entitled Synthesis and characterization of novel ceramic membranes efficient for gas separation applications.

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Positions: One Fellowship and duration: JRF @ 25,000/- per month + HRA for initially one year. Based on the performance, the position may be extended to one more year with the emolument @ 28,000/- per month. The position is purely temporary and performance will be reviewed periodically.

Age Limit: 28 Years or below, as on the last date for receipt of application (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female candidates will be given as per DST norms).

Eligibility Requirements: Master degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with at least 55% and valid NET/GATE score with preferable specialization in Materials science/Solid State Physics. Candidates with M.Tech. degree in Nano-Science and Technology/ Ceramics/ Materials Science, are also eligible to apply.

Important:

The position is purely temporary and it is coterminous with the project. If selected, initially the position will be offered for 01 year. Later on, it may be extended on yearly basis depending on the performance of the candidate. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program provided the candidate satisfies the eligibility criteria of institute.
