Subject: OFFER OF APPOINTMENT FOR THE POST OF SI(GD) IN C.R.P.F.

It is to inform you that as a result of recruitment conducted by SSC 2014, you have been selected for appointment as Sub Inspector (GD) (Group-B) in CRPF and posted to 78 Bn, CRPF, Nagaland. You are, therefore, hereby offered the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in CRPF on temporary basis, subject to your medical fitness for which you will have to undergo detailed medical examination after your reporting in this GC for enlistment.

2. Your appointment to the above post in CRPF will be subject to the following terms and conditions:

a) The post is temporary but likely to continue from time to time.

b) The post of SI/GD in CRPF carries the pay band -2 (Rs. 9300 34,800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-per month in addition, you will be entitled to DA, Ration Money, washing allowance and other allowances as entitled to Central Government / CRPF employees from time to time.

c) On joining this Organization, you will be governed by CRPF Act, 1949 and CRPF Rules 1955 and other standing instructions and rules applicable to Central Govt. Employees / CRPF from time to time.

d) You will be governed by the new Defined Contribution Pension Scheme introduced by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure) vide O.M.F No. 1(7)(2)/2003/TA/1 dated 07/01/2004 for employees joining the Government service on or after 01/01/2004, also called the National Pension System(NPS), under which 10% of your basic pay, Dearness allowances will be deducted from your monthly salary towards contribution towards pension.

e) After appointment to the post, you will be required to successfully undergo Basic Training of SI/GD at any of the Training Institutions of CRPF, failing which your services are liable to be terminated.

f) Your appointment is subject to authenticity of your educational qualification, Date of Birth, Caste Certificate etc., which will be got verified from the authorities concerned. In case on verification, the certificates produced by you are found to be false or any discrepancy is noticed therein, your services are liable to be terminated without assigning any reasons.

g) In case you submit resignation at any time before completion of 10 years qualifying service, you will be required to refund to the Government the prescribed cost of training imparted to you in the CRPF or a sum equal to three months pay and allowances received by you, or would have received by you, but for your resignation, whichever would be higher.

h) Your services are liable to be terminated at any time on one month notice during the initial period of service by the appointment authority without assigning any reasons in accordance with provision contained in CCS (Temporary Service) Rules-1965.

i) As a pre-verification of your character, you are required to produce a certificate in the prescribed form (Copy attached) duly signed by a Gazetted Officer and countersigned by District Magistrate or SDM or their superior officers while joining the post. However, detailed verification of your character and antecedents will also be carried out as per instructions issued by the Government from time to time and in case of any adverse report is received from District authorities, your services will be terminated forthwith.

j) On joining the post, your are required to submit an Undertaking Certificate, to the effect that if at any time in your service, you are found suffering from colour vision deformity not meeting the medical parameters prescribed for CRPF personnel by the Minister of Home Affairs, your services are liable to be terminated as per prevailing instructions.

k) As the service condition in CRPF carries with it the All India Service liability, you are required to serve anywhere in India or even outside India, if exigencies of service, so require.

l) You will not be entitled to any Travelling allowance or re-imbursement of journey expenses for the journey undertaken by you for joining the post in this Group Centre.

1. Immediately on receipt of this letter / offer, you should open Bank Account in the State Bank of India with ATM and Cheque book facility and bring bank particulars and PAN Card at the time of joining, for completion of records / drawal of pay and allowances.
   
   
2. Accordingly, you are hereby offered the post of Sub Inspector/GD in CRPF on above terms and conditions. In case, you are willing to join the post on the above terms and conditions, you may report in this Group centre i.e, The DIGP, Group Centre, C.R.P.F, Pallipuram, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, PIN CODE 695316 on or before 27/08/2016, failing which your candidature for the said post will be treated as cancelled.
   
   
3. While reporting in this GC for joining the post, you are required to submit the following Certificates / documents in original:
   
   

a) Matriculation certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in support of your correct name and date of birth.

b) Certificate of having passed Degree or equivalent examination from a Board of University recognized by Central or State Government.

c) Pre-verification form enclosed with this offer of appointment be filled up properly

and got duly signed by the authorities as mentioned in the form.

d) 04 copies of recent passport size photographs.

e) A valid identity proof such as PAN card or Aadhaar card or voter ID card or Indian

Passport or any other valid ID proof in connection with enrolling in the National Pension System (NPS).

f) Sufficient amount for your day-to-day expenses besides Rs. 4,000/-for depositing as Mess advance.
