Sub : Filling up of Six posts of Superintendent of Police, Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the scale of pay of Level 13 (Rs.1,18,500 2,14,100/- ) in the Bureau of Police Research & Development, New Delhi on deputation basis.

Six posts of Superintendent of Police, Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the scale of pay of Level 13 (Rs.1,18,500 2,14,100/- ) in the Bureau of Police Research & Development (Ministry of Home Affairs),New Delhi is proposed to be filled up on deputation basis. The numbers of vacancies are subject to change. The brief details are as under:-
(a) No. of Post : Six
(b) Place of posting : New Delhi
2. Following are the eligibility conditions:
Officers of Indian Police Service or Central Police Organisations or Central Armed Police Forces
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) With five years service rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level 12 (Rs.78,800-2,09,200/-) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or Department; or
(iii) With ten years service rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level 11 (Rs.67,700-2,08,700) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or Department; or.
(iv) With fifteen years combined service in the grade on regular basis in post in level 12 (Rs.78,800-2,09,200/-) in the pay matrix and level 11 (Rs.67,700-2,08,700/-) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or Department , out of which three years service shall be in level 12 (Rs.78,800-2,09,200/-) in the pay matrix; and.
(b) Possessing educational qualification:-
- (i) Bachelors degree from a recognized University;
- (ii) Two years experience in communication or common integrated police application or police network or crime or criminal tracking network system or computer and cyber application or counter insurgency problems in naxal affected area or investigation of crime or training of police or Central Armed Police Forces or interaction with community or media.
3. The detailed eligibility conditions, experience are enclosed herewith. The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation shall be not exceed 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of application. The details including Prescribed Proforma and eligibility conditions etc. are also available on BPR&D website: www.bprd.nic.in..
4. It is requested that the applications of the suitable and willing officers alongwith their up-to -date CR dossiers may kindly be sent to the Director General, Bureau of Police Research & Development on the address indicated above within a period of 2 months from the date of issue of this letter.
5. The applications received after due date will only be considered after examining the circumstances and reasons for delayed receipt the same.

4. Eligibility : Deputation

Note 1: Officers of the Indian Police Service shall draw pay and allowances as per Indian Police Service (pay) rules 2007.
Note 2: Deputation of officers of the Indian Police Service shall be regulated in terms of Indian Police Service Tenure Rules 2009.

Note 3: Period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three year.
Note 4: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
5. Responsibilities / duties : The Superintendent of Police in-charge of each
Micro Mission shall act as a Link Officer and pursue with the members of the Micro Missions to have regular meetings and obtain their Road Map within the stipulated time period. He is also to be in touch with the members of the Micro Missions, even after they submit their Road Maps/Action Plan for supplementary information. He would also help in formulating the inputs into projects and assist the Inspectors General of Police in-charge of Micro Missions in setting the schedules for implementation, besides monitoring progress.
6. The terms of deputation is respect of other officers selected for appointment on deputation to Bureau of Police Research & Development Hqrs. shall be governed by Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, P.G. & Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training)s Office Memorandum No. 2/29/91-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 5.1.1994 as amended from time to time.
