RECRUITMENT FOR THREE POSITIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVES

IDRBT, established by the Reserve Bank of India, is the premier Institute of Banking Technology. The Institute spearheads efforts in providing state-of-the-art technologies for the Banking and Financial Sector by interfacing Research and Development, Academics, Executive Education, Practice and Consultancy.
The Institute invites applications from dynamic candidates for the following three administrative positions:
POSITION 1: ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVE
i. No. of Positions: Two
ii. Eligibility:
(a) Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent with a consistently good academic record. Candidates with additional certifications such as CCNA, CCSA, etc., would be preferred.
(b) Experience:
A minimum of three years of post-qualification full-time professional experience in a reputed organisation with hands-on experience in:
- Maintaining the IT Systems of a modern organization efficiently and ensuring 24 x 7 smooth functionality
- Carrying out System Administration, Troubleshooting and Analysis across various Operating Systems and Networks
- Managing Mail and Web Services and handling Network Services and Vulnerabilities, Security, Virtualisation, Databases, Servers, Clusters, Sizing, Agility, Storage, Usability, Benchmarking, Cloud, etc.
- Maintenance and Upgradation of various Systems, Hardware and Software, configuring and implementing technical security solutions such as Firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems along

with experience in using various security assessment tools such as Nmap, Qualys, Metasploit, Netcat, etc.

Managing breakdowns, attacks, viruses including recovery of hardware and software and conducting failover tests

Understanding the requirements of users and providing the required support

Various programming languages/ web technologies such as C, Java, Python, Perl, HTML, XML, PHP, .NET; and CMS such as Drupal and Joomla, etc.

Observance of statutory provisions in licensing etc., and proactively studying and applying emerging technologies to continuously upgrade the Institutes Systems

Innovative and Best Practices in systems management and various day-to-day administrative works.

The candidate needs to have very good administrative acumen, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to make continuous systemic improvements

The candidate needs to have excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to work cordially in a team

The candidate should be able to adapt to the changing requirements of the Institute and be a quick learner to take up various changing roles and responsibilities as per the evolving institutional requirements.
iii. Type of Position:
- a.
- This is a contractual position for a period of three years
- b.
- The performance of the selected candidate would be reviewed prior to the completion of the three-year contract term in the Institute and if the performance of the candidate is found to be continuously excellent, the Institute may consider offering the position of Administrative Executive on a regular basis to the candidate
- c.
- If the performance of the selected candidate is not found to be continuously excellent, the contract would stand terminated on completion of the three-year term
- d.
- This position is open for candidates of all categories.

- Compensation:

- a.
- During contract period: All-inclusive consolidated compensation of Rs. 35,000/-(Rupees Thirty Five Thousand only) per month. The Institute may consider providing accommodation in the Institutes quarters in Begumpet, if required
- b.
- If offered a regular position after three years: Pay Band 2 of Rs 930034800 and Grade Pay of Rs 4600 with a Starting Pay of Rs 9300 and other eligible facilities.

- Age Limit: Not Above 35 years as on February 29, 2016.
POSITION -2: ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVE
i. No. of Position: One
ii. Eligibility:
(a) Qualification:
MBA, preferably in Marketing, with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent with a consistently good academic record.
(b) Experience:

- A minimum of three years of post-qualification full-time professional experience in a reputed institution with hands-on experience in:
-
- Managing and administering training programmes, academic programmes, conferences, seminars, etc., smoothly
- Marketing and selling programmes effectively so as to increase participation in training and academic programmes
- Enabling good placements for students by coordinating with the prospective employers / industry
- All administrative aspects of training programmes, post graduate programmes, academic programmes, including planning, roll-out, admissions, delivery coordination, day-to-day support, participants / students and alumni matters
- Engaging with banks / organizations/ institutions to sell and offer training programmes and facilitate placements, including site visits.
- Interacting with participants/ students of various programmes so as to facilitate a good learning experience
- Enhancing the standing and positioning of training as well as academic programmes
- Analysing well-known competitive programmes for redesigning, improving and marketing programmes effectively so as to improve revenues
- Innovative and Best Practices in management of programmes and placements and various day-to-day administrative works.
- Managing and administering training programmes, academic programmes, conferences, seminars, etc., smoothly
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification full-time professional experience in a reputed institution with hands-on experience in:
- The candidate needs to be tech-savvy with excellent computer and people skills, have very good administrative acumen, and the ability to work cordially in a team
- The candidate needs to have excellent organising skills, ability to make continuous systemic improvements, along with good communication, writing and presentation abilities to interface with mid-level and senior executives / decision makers from the banks, corporate world, and academia
- The candidate should be able to adapt to the changing requirements of the Institute and be a quick learner to take up various changing roles and responsibilities as per the evolving institutional requirements.
iii. Type of Position: a) This is a contractual position for a period of three years b) The performance of the selected candidate would be reviewed prior to the completion of the three-year contract term in the Institute and if the performance of the candidate is found to be continuously excellent, the Institute may consider offering the position of Administrative Executive on a regular basis to the candidate c) If the performance of the selected candidate is not found to be continuously excellent, the contract would stand terminated on completion

Other Rules & Regulations for both positions
- If offered a regular position after serving the three-year contract term in the Institute, the candidates apart from the applicable Pay and Grade Pay, will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Quarters or House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Reimbursement, Children Education Allowance, Telephone and Internet Expenses Reimbursement, Laptop Reimbursement, Provident Fund, Gratuity, National Pension System, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Welfare Fund Facilities, Earned Leave Encashment, etc., as per the rules and regulations of the Institute
- Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. Mere fulfilment of eligibility does not guarantee shortlisting for Selection Process.
- Candidates should apply for the specific positions only in the position specific format provided on the Institutes website
- Incomplete applications / not in the prescribed format / without all the required documents, will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained by the Institute
- Candidates for these positions should enclose attested scanned copies / copies of their Marksheet and Certificate of all their educational qualifications, right from Matriculation to Graduation / Post Graduation
- The candidature will be considered on the strength of the information declared in the Application. If at any stage, it is found that any information furnished in the application is false / incorrect or if according to the Institute, the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature / appointment is liable to be cancelled / terminated at any point in time in addition to any disciplinary action as may be necessary
- All educational qualifications must have been necessarily obtained by pursuing the courses on a full-time regular basis from recognized universities / institutions in India or abroad. If grades are awarded instead of marks, candidates should clearly indicate their numerical equivalent
- Candidates employed in Government / Semi-Government Organizations must apply through proper channel
- The Institute reserves the rights to screen and call only such candidates as are found prima facie suitable for being considered by the Selection Committee
- The Institute also reserves the right to restrict the candidates called for the selection process to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed herein and the requirements of the Institute. Thus, just fulfilling the prescribed conditions would not entitle one to be called for Selection Process
- The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts advertised. The Institute also reserves the right to withdraw these posts at any time without assigning any reason
- In all matters regarding Qualification, Eligibility, Skills, Experience, Age Limit, Compensation, Selection Process, Assessment, Prescribing Minimum Qualifying Standards in Selection Process, Communication of Result, etc., the Institutes decision shall be final and binding on all the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard
- No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct & result of selection process and reasons for not being called for the selection process
- Selected candidates should undertake to abide by all the rules and regulations pertaining to their retention as also the rules and regulations of the Institute
