Qualification On Direct Recruitment basis:
Graduate in Civil Engineering
On Re-employment basis:
Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience On Direct Recruitment basis:
Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in maintenance or construction of track in Metro/Railway/Associated Industry out of which at least 5 years in executive/managerial cadre. The candidates should be familiar with the codes related to procurement of rail and track components.
On Re-employment basis :
Officers of Govt. organizations/PSUs retired in the CDA Pay scale of Rs.1560039100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-or in the IDA pay scale of Rs.29100-54500/with minimum 8 years of Post qualification experience in maintenance or construction of track in Metro/Railway/Railway PSUs for Graduates and Minimum 16 years of similar Post Qualification experience for Diploma Holders
The candidate selected in E4 grade shall be in the pay scale of Rs.2910054500(IDA) and other perquisites as applicable to E4 grade as per KMRL approved policies.
On Re-employment basis:-
The pay structure, allowances along with perquisites applicable to the candidates recruited on re-employment basis will be as under:
- Basic pay- will be the last drawn basic pay minus pension, if any.
- Dearness Allowances- as revised by the Government from time to time on the last drawn basic pay. The candidate will not be eligible for Dearness relief on basic pension.
- Other perquisites- as applicable to E4 grade as per KMRL approved policies.
General Conditions:
Experience and age criteria can be relaxed in case of otherwise exceptionally deserving
candidates. The number of vacancies shown above is tentative and may undergo change. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview, which will be communicated through email
only. KMRL reserves the right to shortlist the candidates.
Applicants employed in Govt./Quasi Govt./ PSUs shall apply through proper channel, after forwarding the advance copy along with the application fee and shall produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview.
Acceptance or rejection of application of the candidates will be the sole discretion of the Management. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. Applications of candidates attempting to influence or interfere with the selection process will be rejected summarily and he/she will be declared disqualified for future vacancies in KMRL. No TA/DA will be paid by KMRL to candidates for attending interview

Application form may be filled online by selecting the link in KMRL website. The scan copy of the supporting documents should be uploaded, failing which the application will be treated as incomplete.
Applications forwarded through any other means including fax or e-mail will not be entertained.
The application fee of Rs.500.00 should be paid online through the payment gateway of Kochi Metro Rail website. No other mode of payment will be entertained. This is non-refundable under any circumstances.
