IMPORTANT

Candidates should note that all the Zonal Railways are likely to issue separate Notifications for recruitment to the posts in Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-. Selection process shall be conducted simultaneously by all the Railways and the date of Written Test will be same for all Railways. Candidates should keep this in mind before applying for any particular Notification.

Railway Recruitment Cell, Patna invites applications from citizens of India and such other candidates declared eligible by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India to fill up the following posts in Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in East Central Railway.

Important Note:

(i) The number of vacancies is provisional. This may vary across categories and communities as per administrative requirements and directives of Railway Board.

(ii) Vacancies for Ex-Servicemen have also been included in this notification.

(iii) The above vacancies include the 3% PH Quota @ 1% each for OH, VH and HH. However, the posts against which selected PH Quota recruits will be finally appointed will be confined to the list of specified categories circulated by Railway Board.

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

2.1 MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidates should possess the qualification of 10th Pass or ITI / Centre of Excellence (COE) or equivalent. Candidates appearing at and/or awaiting results of the final examinations of 10th/ITI/COE or equivalent on the date of application are not eligible to apply. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions/Boards, otherwise candidature will be cancelled.

2.2 AGE LIMIT:

2.2.1 The minimum age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 33 year as on 01.01.2014.

2.2.2 The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.

i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
iv) For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.
v) Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen in the age will be total Military service plus 3 years subject to completion of at least six months regular attested service.

vi) For the serving Railway Staff and Casual Laborers/Substitutes, the relaxation in upper age limits will be up to 40 years for Unreserved candidates, 45 years for SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates, provided they have put in a minimum of 3 years service (continuous or in broken spells). For those working in Quasi-Administrative offices of the Railway organization such as Railway Canteens, Co-operative Societies and Institutes, the community-wise relaxation in upper age limits will be up to the length of service rendered subject to maximum of 5 years.

vii) Upper age limit in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands but not remarried shall be relaxed up to 35 years for Unreserved, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
viii) The upper age limit in case of course completed Act Apprentices applying for those posts whose minimum qualification is Course completed Act apprenticeship shall be relaxed to the extent of apprentice training undergone by them under the Apprenticeship Act 1961.

2.2.3 There shall be no relaxation in lower age limit.

2.2.4 PROOF OF AGE:

(a) Matric Certificate issued by Board, or, (b) School Leaving Certificate counter signed by Inspector of Schools /Headmaster/District Education Officer.

3. APPLICATION FEE:

(i) Rs. 100/- (one hundred only) payable in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order only, drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer(RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, E.C.Railway, payable at Patna. Remittance of examination fee in any other form will not be accepted and application shall be summarily rejected solely on this ground. Indian Postal Order (s) should not have been issued earlier to the date of issue of this notification.

(ii) Candidate should write his name and address on the place provided on the Indian postal order (IPOs). Examination Fees is not refundable and it cannot be adjusted for another examination under any circumstances.

3.1 The following categories are exempted from payment of examination fee:

(i) Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities

(ii) Women candidates

(iii) Candidates belonging to minority (described in para 3.2 below) communities

(iv) Candidates belonging to economically backward class having annual family income of less than Rs. 50,000/-

(v) Persons with Disabilities (PWD) or Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates.
(vi) Ex-Servicemen.

3.2 Minorities mean Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zorastrians (Parsis). For claiming waiver of examination fee, candidates belonging to Minority community should furnish self declaration as mentioned in Annexure-7 along with application form. At the time of document verification such candidates claiming waiver of examination fee will be required to furnish minority community declaration affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper that he/she belongs to any of the above minority community. If the affidavit is not produced during document verification, the candidature will be rejected.

3.3 Economically backward classes means the candidates whose annual family income is less than Rs.50,000/-. Such candidates have to submit Income Certificate in the format at Annexure-8 on the letter head/pad of the issuing authority and enclose with the application. If the original Income Certificate is not produced during document verification, the candidature will be rejected.

3.4 PERSONS WITH DISABILITES (PWD):

Definitions of Disabilities:

(a) Blindness: Blindness refers to a condition where a person suffers from any of the following conditions, namely: (i) total absence of sight; or (ii) visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (snellen) in the better eye with correcting lenses; or (iii) limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degree or worse.

(b) Low vision: Person with low vision means a person with impairment of visual functioning even after treatment or standard refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriate assistive device.

(c) Hearing Impairment: Hearing Impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.

(d) (i) Locomotor disability: Locomotor disability means disability of the bones, joints or muscles leading to substantial restriction of the movement of the limbs or any form of cerebral palsy.

(ii) Cerebral Palsy: Cerebral Palsy means a group of non-progressive conditions of a person characterized by abnormal motor control posture resulting from brain insult or injuries occurring in the pre-natal or infant period of development.

(iii) All the cases of orthopaedically handicapped persons would be covered under the category of locomotor disability or cerebral palsy.

(e) DEGREE OF DISABILITY FOR RESERVATION: Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in posts who suffer from not less than 40 per cent of relevant disability. A person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation would have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority in the format given in Annexure- 5.

(f) COMPETENT AUTHORITY TO ISSUE A DISABILITY CERTIFICATE: The competent authority to issue a Disability Certificate shall be a medical Board duly constituted by Central or State Government consisting of at least three members out of which at least one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing locomotor/cerebral/visual/hearing disability, as the case may be.

(g) Visually Handicapped candidates / those candidates whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy can avail the assistance of scribe for writing answers on their behalf. For engaging the scribe the candidate will have to suitably inform the Railway Recruitment Cell in advance as per Annexure- 6. The engagement of scribe will be subject to the following conditions:- (i) The candidates will have to arrange their own scribes at their own cost during examination. Separate admit cards will be issued to the scribes accompanying such candidates. Admit card should contain the particulars and photograph of the scribe duly signed by him/her. (ii) The academic qualification of the scribe should be one grade below the qualification prescribed for the post for which recruitment is made (iii) The candidates as well as the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking (Annexure-6) along with the application confirming that scribe fulfills all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe as mentioned above. In case it transpires later, that he/she did not fulfill any of the laid down eligibility criteria or there has been suppression of material facts the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled irrespective of the result of the examination. The candidate shall be responsible for any mis-conduct on the part of the scribe brought by him/her. The under taking should be submitted by the visually handicapped and the candidates whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy along with his/her application.

(h) All one eyed candidates and VH candidates whose visual degree of disability is less than 40% shall not be considered as visually handicapped persons and the provision of engaging scribe shall not be applicable to them.

(i) Medical Examination: All selected candidates will be subjected to medical examination by Railway Medical Authority at the time of appointment and only those confirming to the medical standards as laid down in the Indian Railway Medical Manual and other extant provisions as the case may be, will be eligible for appointment.

4. EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES:

This employment notice contains vacancies reserved for ex-servicemen irrespective of their community. The term Ex-Servicemen means a person: (a) who has served in any rank (whether as a combatant or non-combatant) in the regular Army, Navy or Air Force of the Indian Union but does not include a person who has served in the Defence Security Corps, the General Reserved Engineering Force, the Lok Sahayak Sena and the Para Military Forces and who has retired from such services after earning his/her pension or (b) who has been released from such service on medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awarded military service or other disability pension or (c) who has been released otherwise than on his own request as a result of reduction in such establishment or (d) the persons serving in the Armed Force of the Union, who on retirement from service would come under the category of Ex-Serviceman, may be permitted to apply for re-employment one year before the completion of the specific terms of engagement and avail themselves of all concessions available to Ex-servicemen, but shall not be permitted to leave the Uniform until they complete the specified terms of engagement in the Armed forces of the Union. Such service Personnel who are likely to be discharged from military service on or before 01.09.2014 are eligible to apply against this employment notice.

(i) Ex-Servicemen are required to clearly indicate all required particulars including community in the application form and enclose all documentary proof, as required. However, regardless of community, ex-servicemen will be considered only against the ex-servicemen quota.
(ii) Ex-servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the ex-servicemen quota in Central Government in PB-I + GP 1800/- will be given only age relaxation but will not be considered under ex-servicemen quota.

5. MODE OF APPLICATION:

5.1 Candidates should submit the applications either in Hindi or in English in the format annexed as Annexure- 1 to this Notification. Application having any change in the format will be rejected.

5.2 The application should be on good quality A-4 size bond white paper using one side only. News paper cuttings should not be used as applications.

5.3 Candidates should ensure that application is on a single sheet conforming to the above specifications. Applications in more than one sheet shall be rejected. Candidates using printed application form from any other source should ensure that it conforms to the prescribed format. The application form (Annexure 1) can also be downloaded and printed from RRCs website www.rrcecr.gov.in

5.4 Candidates should fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting either in Hindi or in English with blue or black ball point pen only.

5.5 Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities should enclose a community certificate in the format given in Annexure -2 of this Notification.

5.6 Candidates belonging to OBC community should enclose a community certificate in the format given in Annexure - 3 of this notification. In addition the OBC candidates should enclose self-declaration of non-creamy layer status in the proforma given in Annexure-4.

5.7 Candidates who have already been debarred for life from appearing in all the examinations conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards/Railway Recruitment Cells or those who have been debarred for a specified period, which is yet to be over, are not eligible to apply.

5.8 In item number 1, 2 & 3 of the application form, candidate should fill up his/her Name, Fathers name and Date of Birth which should match with those mentioned in his/her 10th/Matric certificate.

5.9 Candidates should send their applications sufficiently in advance to reach this office on or before the closing date. Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway shall not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery of applications.

5.10 Candidates are required to copy the following para (Declaration), in his /her own running handwriting, in space providing at column 19 in the Application format

I hereby declare that all the particulars given above by me are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I am aware that in the event of any information furnished by me being found false / incorrect at any stage, my candidature will be rejected summarily and I will also liable for criminal action. I will abide by the instructions given in the notification.

If the candidate copies the above para in English CAPITAL letters only or does not copy the above para at all or copies the para partially and leaves blank the major portion of the space provided in column 19 of the application form, his application shall be rejected summarily solely on this ground. Visually Handicapped candidates are exempted from writing the declaration.

5.11 Candidate should put Signature, Place and date of filling of application at the bottom of the Application form at the assigned place. Signature of the applicant must be specific so that the same may not be copied easily. Signature in Capital letters or open letters will not be accepted and the applications having such type of signatures will be rejected summarily (VH candidates exempted from signature). Undated or predated applications will also be rejected summarily.

5.12 Candidate should put clear and readable Left Thumb Impression (LTI) in the specified box of the application form. If the candidate does not put his LTI at all or puts partial LTI or blurred/smudged LTI or such LTI which is not readable, his application shall be rejected summarily solely on this ground. Clear and readable LTI can be given by taking sufficient ink on the whole left thumb and then putting the impression with soft hand without pressing hard on the paper.

6. WHOM TO APPLY:

6.1 The duly filled up application along with the required documents should be addressed to the Assistant Personnel Officer (RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna 800011, Bihar.

Or dropped in the Application Box/Room at Railway Recruitment Cell office, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna 800011 Bihar upto 18.00 hours of the closing date i.e 14.10.2013 on all working days i.e except Saturday, Sunday and Gazetted Holidays.

6.2 On the envelope containing the application, APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POSTS IN PAY BAND-1 + GRADE PAY RS.1800/-, EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. RRC/ECR/GP 1800/1/2013, should clearly be written.

Physically Handicapped candidate should mention PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CANDIDATE at the top right side of the envelope.

6.3 The candidate should send application duly filled in along with required documents by ORDINARY POST, so as to reach the abovementioned office within the closing date and time. Application received after closing date and time, for any reason whatsoever, will not be considered. Speed post / Courier / Registered AD envelopes will not be acknowledged and will be treated as received by ordinary post.

7. SERVING EMPLOYEES:

A Candidate serving under any government or Public Sector Enterprises/Undertaking including Railways or Quasi Administrative Government Offices/Organizations and institutions should either apply through proper channel with duly certified service details by the employer or directly to Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway with NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the employer concerned. In addition, an advance copy of such application complete in all respects may be sent super scribing on the top of the application ADVANCE COPY so as to reach this office before the closing date and time specified. Advance copy of the application will be entertained provided the application through the proper channel is received in the Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway office within 15 days from the closing date the responsibility of which shall be upon the candidate.

8. Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands candidates:

For candidates belonging to the abovementioned places closing date would be 29.10.2013 time upto 18.00 hrs. Such candidates should enclose a domicile certificate from an appropriate authority certifying that the candidate has passed his/her examination from the school/College situated in the above mentioned places.

9. ONLY ONE APPLICATION:

Each candidate should send only one application. Candidature of candidates submitting multiple applications will be rejected. Even if such a candidate gets selected inadvertently, he/she will not be offered appointment once it is detected that he/she had submitted more than one application.

10. MODE OF SELECTION:

10.1 Written Examination: Candidates whose applications are summarily found in order after initial scrutiny will be called for a Written Test. A separate call letter indicating date of examination, time and venue will be sent to all such candidates.

10.1.1 Written Examination consists of objective type multiple choice ( 4 options) question paper based on 10th class standard to assess the general knowledge/awareness/mathematics /reasoning etc. There will be 100 Questions and the duration of Written Examination will be 90 minutes.

10.1.2 The question paper will be printed in Hindi, English, Urdu and Maithili.

10.1.3 Negative Marking: There will be negative marking for marking wrong answers. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

10.2 Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Based on merit position of the candidates in the written examination, PET shall be conducted for short-listed candidates who qualify written examination. The entire PET process will be videographed.

Passing the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for the PET is as under:

For male candidates

For female candidates

Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 (one thousand) meters in 4 (four) minutes & 15 (fifteen) seconds in one chance.

Should be able to run for a distance of 400 (four hundred) meters in 3 (three) minutes & 10 (ten) seconds in one chance.

10.2.1 Number of candidates to be called for PET shall be equal to the number of community-wise vacancies or as per present instructions, it will be 3 times the number of community-wise vacancies. A separate call letter indicating date of PET, time & venue will be sent.

10.2.2 The persons with disabilities are exempted from appearing in PET.

10.3 Document and candidature verification: Out of PET qualified candidates, based on the merit position in the written examination, short-listed candidates will be called for documents and candidature verification. Number of candidates to be called at this stage shall be equal to the number of vacancies or as per present instructions, it will be 1.2 times the number of community-wise vacancies. Thus, it may be possible that some earlier short-listed candidates may not be called for at this stage due to their lower merit position in the written examination despite being successful in PET.

10.4 Medical examination: Candidates found eligible after document and candidature verification shall be referred for medical examination. Number of candidates to be referred for medical examination shall be equal to the number of community-wise vacancies. Thus, it may be possible that some candidates who are found eligible upto the previous stage, may not be medically examined due to their lower merit position in the written examination.

10.5 Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway will not be liable/responsible for any loss/injury/damage, whether direct or consequential, suffered/incurred by any candidate during the selection, including PET. Candidates are advised in their own interest, therefore, to ensure that they are physically and otherwise fit to undertake the selection and observe due care to avoid injury/loss/damage to either themselves or others during the process of selection.

10.6 Final recruitment panel will be strictly based on merit position obtained in written examination.

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

11.1 Before applying to the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria. The Railway Recruitment Cell/East Central Railway shall reject applications not fulfilling the requisite criteria, at any stage of recruitment and if erroneously appointed, such candidates shall be liable to be summarily removed from service.

11.2 Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in East Central Railway. Decision of Railway Administration in this regard shall be final.

11.3 Emoluments on initial appointment will be at minimum of the Pay Band 1 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800 + Other allowances as admissible.

11.4 Female Candidates are also eligible. They may however note that the nature of duties may be arduous and may involve out door duties.

11.5 All candidates, irrespective of community will be considered for UR Vacancies. However, against vacancies of specific community quota, only candidates of that particular community will be considered and any subsequent representation for change of community status will not be entertained under any circumstances.

11.6 Mere selection and empanelment does not confer any right of appointment to the candidates.

11.7 Admission of the candidate at all stages of recruitment will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed conditions.

11.8 Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway reserves the right to modify this notification to any extent or to withdraw it completely at any stage. The RRC/ECR, at its discretionary may hold additional Written Examination and/or PET or re-examination or cancel part or whole of the Written Examination and /or PET.

11.9 Under no circumstances damage/loss of any kind or re-fund of examination fee will be considered.

11.10 The candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass the requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties associated with the post. Only those candidates who are found medically fit would be empanelled subject to availability of vacancies.

11.11 Candidates recommended for a particular category of post with a higher medical classification will not be considered for any alternative post with lower medical classification in the event of their medical unfitness.

12. ENCLOSURES TO THE APPLICATION:

Candidates should enclose self-attested photocopies of the relevant certificates as mentioned below. Original certificates must not be enclosed. All enclosed certificates which are in language other than Hindi or English should be translated to Hindi or English and enclosed alongwith self-attested Xerox copies of originals.

12.1 A passport size photograph (not older than 01 months) without wearing cap & goggles/coloured glasses is to be pasted (not stapled) at the appropriate place in the application form.

12.2 Indian Postal Order towards the examination fee of Rs.100/- (rupees one hundred only), wherever applicable.

12.3 Certificates in proof of the Date of Birth. Only 10th class pass/Matric certificate or school leaving certificate will be accepted.

12.4 Certificates in proof of educational/technical qualifications.

12.5 Community certificates for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities.

12.6 Non-creamy layer certificate from OBC candidates.

12.7 Physical Disability Certificate for candidates applying for quota reserved for them.
12.8 Income certificate for economically backward class candidates seeking fee concession.
12.9 Self-declaration for candidates belonging to minority communities seeking fee concession.
12.10 In case of Ex-servicemen and Government Servants, self attested copy of certificate from the appropriate authority giving their length of regular service etc.

13. INVALID APPLICATIONS:

Applications which suffer from the following deficiencies will be rejected. (The list is only illustrative and not exhaustive):-

13.1 Applications received after the closing date and time.

13.2 Indian Postal orders not enclosed or issued before the date of notification or Indian Postal Order(s) for lesser amount than Rs. 100/- is enclosed, wherever required.

13.3 Applications not in the prescribed format (in single A4 sheet with 24 items) or which are incomplete in any manner. Application will be rejected summarily if any of the items out of 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, 16, 19, 21, 22 and 23 of the application form is found blank. Only VH candidates are exempted from filling up the columns 19 and 23.

13.4 Applications without the required photo/photo not affixed/Xerox copy of photo/photo with cap, goggles, coloured glasses etc. affixed. It is necessary to properly affix (not staple) the photograph at the appropriate place in the application form without which application shall be rejected summarily even if it has been attached alongwith enclosures or shown attached in list of enclosures.

13.5 Candidates not in possession of the required educational qualifications on the date of application. Educational Qualification certificates, if issued in language other then Hindi or English, its translated copy in English/Hindi, duly signed by the candidate must be attached otherwise applications will be rejected summarily treating them as applications without enclosures.

13.6 Candidate underaged/overaged as on 01.01.2014.

13.7 More than one application submitted by the same candidate. In this case all such applications shall be rejected.

13.8 Applications without the declaration (printed along with item 19 of the application form and also mentioned in para 5.10 of this notification) being re-produced by the candidate at appropriate/designated place in the application in his/her own running handwriting.

13.9 Applications without signature of candidate. Signatures only in English Capital letters shall be treated as applications without signature and shall be rejected.

13.10 Left hand thumb impression not affixed or is blurred/smudged/partial/not readable.

13.11 Copies of required enclosures as mentioned in para 12 not enclosed.

13.12 More than one application submitted in one envelope.

13.13 Applications which are not addressed to the Assistant Personnel Officer(RRC), Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Dighaghat, Patna-800011.

13.14 Applications which are filled in a language other than Hindi/English.

13.15 Any other irregularity/deficiency noticed and considered invalid by the RRC.

14. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT:

14.1 Candidates are strictly advised that they should not furnish any false particular or suppress any essential material information while filling up the Application Form.

14.2 Candidates shall not bring or attempt to bring any political or other influence to further his/her interest in respect of recruitment.

14.3 Misconduct on the part of the candidate at any part of the recruitment process is strictly prohibited.

14.4 Indulgence in the above practices will result in the rejection of the candidature at any time.

14.5 Action as deemed fit as per rule including criminal action will be taken by Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway against candidates found guilty of using unfair means during selection process, mis-behaviour at examination venues etc.

14.6 Candidates found submitting fabricated/forged/tampered certificates shall be debarred from Railway examinations and appointment in Railways for atleast 2 years. Criminal action may also be initiated against such candidates.

14.7 Candidates found indulged in arranging impersonation on their behalves shall be debarred for life from Railway examinations as well as from getting recruitment in Railways. Criminal action may also be initiated against such candidates.

15. NOTE:

15.1 Copies of the employment notification, Application Format, annexure are also available on the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway www.rrcecr.gov.in .

15.2 Candidates are advised to keep a photocopy of the Application form for future reference.

15.3 For any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be at Central Administrative Tribuanl, Patna only.

15.4 In case of any dispute, English version of the Employment Notice will be treated as valid.

15.5 Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway shall have the right to correct any inadvertent error or mistake.
15.6 RRC will not be responsible for any printing error.

16. FREE JOURNEY RAILWAY PASS:

A Free second class Railway pass from nearest railway station to the place of examination and back will be issued to the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities only for appearing in the Written Examination/ Physical Efficiency Test.

17. RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELLS DECISION FINAL:

The decision of RRC/ECR in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, issue of free rail passes, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of examination(s), allotment of examination centre, allotment of post/places to selected candidates and all other matters related with conduct of recruitment process will be final and binding on the candidates, and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.

18. IMPORTANT CAUTION:-

Beware of touts, job racketeers and impersonators trying to deceive the candidates by false promises of securing job in Railways either through influence or by use of unfair or unethical means. The only authorized website of Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway is www.rrcecr.gov.in where information/notices regarding recruitment are posted time-to-time. Please do not believe or Act on any other websites. Candidates will be selected purely as per merit. Please beware of unscrupulous elements and do not fall in their trap.
