Online applications are invited for the below mentioned posts. The last date for filling up the applications is 27.05.2016. Candidates should carefully read the Instructions available on Commissions website before filling the application online.

1. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

2. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the Instructions.

   1. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES

      1. Junior Gynaecologist 1 post (resvd for OBC) (2nd time)

      2. Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post- graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

   2. DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM

      1. Assistant Director of Tourism 2 posts [1 resvd for PH (Deaf)]

      2. Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential (i) Degree in Tourism/Hotel Management/Hospitality, from a recognised University. (ii) Six years work experience in Hotel/Tourism Industries. (iii) Knowledge of History and culture of India and must be familiar with places of Tourist interest in India, in general and Goa in particular. (iv) Computer literate. (v) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Foreign languages other than English language, preferably French, German or Russian. (ii) Masters Degree in Tourism/Hospitality, from a recognised University. (iii) MBA/PGDBM/PGDM, from a recognised University. (iv) Knowledge of Marathi.

   3. DIRECTORATE OF OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

      1. Senior Translator (Konkani) ... 3 posts [1 resvd for PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped)] (2nd time)

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) Post Graduate Degree in Konkani from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) At least five years experience in translation from Konkani to English and vice versa.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

   4. DIRECTORATE OF FISHERIES

      1. Superintendent of Fisheries .. 1 post

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/- Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) Master Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor Degree in Fisheries Science or Post graduate diploma in Fisheries, failing which Masters Degree in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology from a recognized University. (ii) 3 years in Research/Field work in a Marine/Inland Fisheries/Aquaculture. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

   5. DIRECTORATE OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND VETERINARY SERVICES

1. Veterinary Officer ... 24 posts [1 resvd for SC, 6 resvd for ST, 1 resvd for PH (One Leg/Hearing Handicapped) & 10 resvd for OBC]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) (i) Recognised Veterinary qualification included in the First or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984) and registered with a Goa State Veterinary Council. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Experience in Cattle Development or Poultry Development or running of a Veterinary Dispensary. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
