Online applications are invited for the below mentioned posts. The last date for filling up the applications is 28.04.2016. Candidates should carefully read the Instructions available on Commissions website before filling the application online.

1. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

2. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the Instructions.

   1. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES

      1. Senior Paediatrician 2 posts

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

      2. Junior Physician 2 posts [1 resvd for ST (3rd time)] & 1 post [resvd for OBC (2nd time)]

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post- graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

      3. Medical Offficer 1 post

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico- Cirurgiao). (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: (i) Experience in the general medical practice or the concerned speciality as the case may be. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

      4. Public Health Dentist 3 posts (1 resvd for OBC)

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i). A degree qualification included in Part I or Part II of the schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

   2. GOA POLICE DEPARTMENT

      1. Assistant Director in Forensic Science Laboratory 3 posts [1 resvd for PH (Hearing Handicapped/One Leg)] (2nd time) Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) Masters Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University. (ii) Should possess at least 8 years practical experience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (ii) Should be Computer literate. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

      2. Scientific Officer in Forensic Science Laboratory 4 posts [1 resvd for OBC & 1 resvd for PH (Hearing Handicapped/One Leg)](2nd time) Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) Masters Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University. (ii) Should possess at least 5 years practical experience in a State/Central Forensic Science Laboratory. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: (i) Doctorate Degree in Science from a recognized University. (ii) Should be Computer literate. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

   3. DIRECTORATE OF SOCIAL WELFARE

      1. District Welfare Officer 1 post

         Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

         Educational & Other Qualifications:-

         Essential: (i) Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government recognised Social Welfare Organization. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

         Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

         Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

         Note 2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the G.P.S.C. in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the G.P.S.C is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.

   4. DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION

1. Assistant Professor (Tabla) in Goa College of Music 1 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,000/-. Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Masters Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
