Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow to work in DST (SERB) sponsored project entitled Physicochemical properties of amphiphilic drugs: Effects of addition of organic solvents. The duration of project is 3 years. The qualifications and other requirements are given below.

1	Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	M.Sc in Chemistry with minimum 60 % (6.5 CGPA) marks with NET/GATE qualification. In the absence of NET/GATE qualified candidates M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 60 % (6.5 CGPA) marks alone will be considered with lower salary.

Selected candidate with NET qualification will be appointed initially for a period of one year with a salary of 25,000/- per month and it can be extended for another year with same salary. A fellowship amount of Rs. 28,000/- per month will be paid in the 3rd year if the candidates work is found to be satisfactory.

Selected candidate without NET qualification will be appointed initially for a period of one year with salary of 14,000/- per month and it can be extended for another year with same salary. A fellowship amount of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be paid in the 3rd year if the candidates work is found to be satisfactory.

I0 % of the fellowship amount will be paid as HRA.

The fellowship/salary is subject to change depending on DST directions.

Date for Interview/other communications will be informed to the shortlisted candidates through email only. Relaxation is admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
