Advertisement for the Post of Research Fellow for a DST, Govt. of India, Funded Research Project (Ref: DST/TSG/AMT/2015/342, dated 28.07.2016)

A Walk in interview will be held on 18th November, 2016 at 10.00 am in the office of the Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Durgapur for the following position.

Title of Project: Design and Development of Electro-hydrodynamic Inkjet Printing System

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (One Post)

Minimum Qualification: MSc /M. Tech in Computer Science/Engineering/ OR/ Software Engg with atleast 60% marks or CGPA 6.5. Knowledge in the area of mechatronics system integration, Inkjet printing system and soft computing is preferable.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- pm. + HRA as DST guidelines.

The selected candidate will be initially taken as JRF and will be paid a fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA. The fellowship will be provided initially for a period of two years. Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of second year. Candidate recruited for JRF can take admission to pursue PhD under NIT Durgapur on clearance of all the institutional formalities.

TA/DA is not admissible for attending the interview or for joining the post.

The above position is purely contractual. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments/absorption in this institute.
