Project Title: Geo-stationary Imagine Satellite (GISAT) Assessment of water quality parameter over major Indian inland water bodies

Salary: Rs. 25000/month +20% HRA

Qualification:

1. MTech/ME in water resources engineering/environmental engineering/remote sensing with B. Tech. in Civil/Agricultural/Water resources Engineering.

2. GATE qualified candidates would be preferred.

3. Candidates having knowledge of remote sensing and GIS software in addition to water quality analysis would be preferred.

Duration: 3 years

Nature of work:

The selected candidate would be collecting samples from different locations of water bodies and analyzing them in the laboratory for their water quality. In addition, the candidate would be using remote sensing and GIS software to correlate water quality variable with satellite data.
