Information to the candidates

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Carrying out R&D work in VLSI Design.

2. Guiding the UG/PG students on their project work in VLSI design & testing

3. Assisting the students during the laboratory classes on VLSI systems

4. Undergoing training on the advanced VLSI design topics under the Learning Enhancement programme (LEP) to be conducted at the VLSI man power resource centers

5. Preparation and submission of project reports to the project funding and monitoring agencies

6. Developing the skills on advanced VLSI CAD tools and guide the students on chip design under India chip program.

7. Any other duties that may be assigned by the project coordinator and cocoordinator

No. of post: One

Salary and Tenure:

The initial salary may be fixed from Rs.30, 000 to Rs. 35,000 (consolidated) depending upon the previous experience. The post is purely temporary in nature. The appointment may initially be made for a period of 1 year and the tenure may be extended for an additional 1year depending upon the performance.

Registration for Ph.D.: Temporary staffs, if found suitable, can register for part time Ph.D.

Qualification:

The minimum qualification is I Class M.E./M.Tech in Microelectronics/ VLSI system with sound working knowledge on VLSI CAD Tools. The application should be sent to
