WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the following posts to work on a project funded by the MHRD, Govt. of India purely on a temporary basis for a maximum period of one year or the project termination whichever is earlier.

Interested candidates are advised to report to the office of the Physics Department on 27th January, 2016 along with their up to date curriculum vitae and copies of all academic and technical degrees/diplomas, experience, publications, etc. Candidates should also bring at least one reference letter from someone who has known them academically or professionally for more than a year.

Name of the post: Technical Operator (Electron Microscope) Date of commencement: Immediate Duration: One year or Project termination date whichever is earlier Date of Walk-in Interview: 27th January, 2016 Salary: Rs. 12000/-per month (consolidated). Eligibility criteria:

Essential:

1. B. Tech./M. Tech. in any discipline

Desirable:

  • Strong academic background throughout

  • At least six months experience in handling Electron Microscope

  • Ability to communicate in English

  • Candidates having experience in Carl Zeiss Sigma FESEM will be given preference.

  • Ability to work in a large group with multiple users

  • Willingness to learn to operate new equipment

Terms and Conditions:

1. The position is purely temporary, and performance will be evaluated every three months.

  1. Candidates called for interview should bring all the original mark-sheets, certificates etc.

  2. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.

  3. No TA/DA is admissible to the candidate for attending the interview.

  4. The candidate may have to work outside the normal working hours without additional incentive.

  5. The candidate may have to run other machines of CoE if required.

  • Strong academic background throughout

  • At least six months experience in handling one or more of the following equipment:

Atomic force microscope, battery testing equipment, Gas sensing equipment, Solar Simulator system, Chemical vapour deposition system

  • Ability to communicate in English

  • Ability to work in a large group with multiple users

  • Willingness to learn to operate new equipment
