Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates and eligible candidates of Indian Origin for filling up 32 (thirty two) posts of Assistant Professor in the PB-3 of Rs 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs 6000/- under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim through Direct Recruitment.
However, during the period of Probation/Apprenticeship/Training, pay shall be governed by Notification No: 489/GEN/DOP dated: 31.10.2011. (Details of the notification may be seen in the SPSC website).

Age : Should have attained the age of 21 to 40 years, but should not
have exceeded 40 years as on 30/09/2017.
The maximum age limit is relaxable by 40 years in terms of Notification No: M(3)/(55)/GEN/DOP/Pt-III DT: 03/07/2017.
The candidates who have been awarded a M.Phil/P.hD Degree prior to July 11th 2009 in accordance with the UGC Regulation 2009, are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions: |

Applicants should ensure that they are eligible and qualified on the date of application and their forms are complete in all respect.
Application form should be supported by a copy of No Objection Certificate duly attested from the appointing Authority/Head of Department in case of employed candidate in regular establishment.
Attested copies of (1) Class X and XII Mark Sheet and Certificate (2) Graduate & Masters Degree Mark Sheet/ Degree Certificate awarded by the recognized Institute or equivalent (3) Certificate of NE(SLET)/NET/SET or Ph.D. (alongwith course certificate). (4) Valid Local Employment Card issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim, (for local candidates) (5) Valid Certificate of Identification/Sikkim Subject Certificate (for local candidates) (6) Valid category certificate for BL/ST/OBC-CL/OBC-SL/SC/PT issued by the competent authority. (7) Valid Unmarried Certificate in case of female candidates or in case of married female candidates Husbands C.O.I. (for local candidates).
Incomplete application shall be summarily rejected. Sikkim Public Service Commission shall not correspond to any applicant in this regard at personal level.
Application form can be downloaded from www.spscskm.gov.in Complete application form should reach the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on or before 11/11/2017 on any working day between 10:30 am. to 03:30 pm along with original Bank Receipt of State bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to 0051-SPSC for candidates residing within the State of Sikkim. And IPO of Rs 150/- in respect of candidates residing outside the State of Sikkim. The amount once deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other purpose.
No application submitted after 03.30 pm. on 11/11/2017 will be accepted. SPSC will not be responsible for late receipt of application due to postal delay or otherwise.
Applicants are advised to go through the Advertisement scrupulously and fill in the form accordingly.
No TA/DA is admissible for attending the Personal Interview.
Admission at all the stages of examination for which applicants are admitted by the Commission viz. Interview Test will be purely provisional and is subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification at any stage of the examination process, it is found that applicant do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the post will be cancelled by the Commission without any notice.
The Commission will not entertain any application on review or RTI/Correspondence till the entire process of recruitment is complete.
