NOTICE DATED: 15.01.2017

Whereas, vide this Commissions Notice dated 10.01.2017, the shortlisted candidates were called for interview for the posts of Assistant Professor (Botany); and

whereas, among other candidates, one candidate namely Shailender Kumar S/O Hem Raj Pakhru inadvertently is figuring twice at Sr. No. 87 under Open Merit category and at S.No.169 under ST Category in the said notice; and

whereas, it has been found that he has applied under ST Category for the post of Assistant Professor (Botany) and was required to called for interview only under ST Category; and

whereas, as per short-listing criteria his name under Open category figuring at S.No.87 is required to be excluded from the notice dated 10.01.2017; and

whereas, one more candidate in his place is required to be shortlisted for interview under open category and Mr. Hamid Iqbal Tak S/O Mohd. Iqbal Tak Bar Code No.102280 under open category is falling next in order of merit being possessing 62.24 points.

Now, therefore, Shailender Kumar S/O Hem Raj Pakhru figuring at Sr.No. 87, under Open Merit category shall and shall always be deemed to have been excluded from the interview notice dated 10.01.2017 under open category only in ab-intio and in his place one candidate namely Mr. Hamid Iqbal Tak S/O Mohd. Iqbal Tak (Bar code No. 102280)who is next in order of merit is advised to appear in the interview on 20.01.2017 for the post of Assistant Professor (Botany) at J&K PSC office, Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu at 9.00 A.M.

The revised cut off merit under Open Category is 62.24.
