Recruitment of Programmer (Contract) Batch 2016-17
Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co. Ltd., Jabalpur , a successor company of erstwhile MPSEB intends to fill up the vacancies of 16 nos. Programmer (Contract) Batch 2016-17 and invites applications from eligible candidates for which the category wise vacancy position is as follows:

Note: The vacancies are tentative and may change at a later date according to the need of the Company. The Company reserves the right to fill or not fill any of the vacancies.

Qualification Criteria
-
The candidate should be a MCA or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Techno logy (or any equivalent graduate degree in relevant branch of engineering) from a Institute recognized by AICTE or a University recognized by UGC, with minimum 60% marks or minimum 6 CGPA in aggregate in case of General & OBC category candidates and 50% marks or minimum S CGPA in case of SC/ST category candidates .
The candidates appearing in final Semester/Year exam of the Qualifying educational qualification may also apply. Such candidates, if selected, shall have to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with minimum stipulated qualifying marks for the respective category at the time of joining, otherwise their candidature shall be cancelled .

The reservation of positions shall be applicable only for the candidates having Madhya Pradesh domicile.

Caste certificate issued by Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) only shall be valid.

The scanned copy of following documents shall be uploaded by the applicant:

Higher Secondary or High School Examination certificate in supp01t of date of birth.

Ce1tificate or marksheet of MCA or B.E./B.Tech pass as mentioned in clause 1 (i). The candidates appearing in final Semester/Year exam shall upload marksheet of 7111 semester/previous year.

Any one of the Certificate mentioned in clause I (ii).

Caste certificate (permanent), (in case of reserved category candidates) issued by the Sub Divisional Officer (SDO).

Applicants having experience in successor Companies of MPSEB should submit work experience ce1tificate in the relevant field issued by the official (not below the rank of Super in tending Engin eer/G eneral Manager), the format of which is available on Company' s website.

Application Fee

Application fee for Unreserved / OBC candidates of MP domicile and candidates of all categories belonging to other states shall be Rs. I 000/- per candidate.

Application fee for SC/ ST candidates ofMP domicile sha ll be Rs. 800/- per candidate.

Payment of application fee can also be made in cash at MP Online kiosk.

No extra charges shall be payable for scanning of photographs etc., to the kiosk apa1t from the portal charges.

SelectionProcedure
-
Online application will be invited through MP Online . The Eligible candid ates shortlisted on the basis of the details filled in online application form satisfying the aforementioned criteria have to undergo an online assessment test comprising of 100 questions of 3 marks each. The maximum marks of test paper will be 300. The duration of online assessment test will be of two hours containing the questions as per the prescribed syllabus.

The Online assessment test sha ll be conducted by MP Online at Jabalpur. Test may also be organized in other cities of Madhya Pradesh depending on the number of applicants.
-
There shall be negative marking, therefore, 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer. The marks scored will be calculated as per the formula (3R-W) where R=number ofright answers and W=number of wrong answers.

Admit Cards for online assessment test will be available online on www.mponline.gov .in. Candidates may download the admit card from the MP Online website and produce a copy of the same for appearing in the online academic assessment test.

The presence of the candidates at various test centres shall be marked and recorded in an appropriate manner as may be decided by the Company .
-
The answer sheet of individual candidate , and model answer sheet (key) will be furnished within three days from date ohest.
-
There will be 300 marks for online assessment test and 30 marks (10% of online assessment test) for experience. The merit list will be prepared by adding marks obtained in online assessment test and experience.

The weightage of experience will be given to departmental candidates (regular or on contract of MPSEB & its successor companies) only. A maximum of 30 marks will be given for 60 months experience in relevant field for completed months on pro rata basis. Note: Experience certificate is to be submitted by the candidate in the prescribed format only. Experience Certificate not submitted in the prescribed format shall not be entertained.

Based on the marks obtained in online assessment test and experience, a merit list will be declared. The merit list of all candidates shall be prepared and the post of UR category shall be filled up (irrespective of candidates belonging to any category). After filling all the posts of UR category, merit list of remaining candidates of only reserved categories belonging to ST/SC/OBC shall be prepared upto the cut off marks of respective category.

If the marks secured by two or more candidates are same, selection will be based on date of birth in descending order i.e. older candidate will be placed first in the merit list.

The validity of the waiting list shall be one year from the date of declaration of result. However, the recruitment process may be closed for operation of waiting list by issuing specific order even before one year. After issuance of specific order of closure of the process, the claim of any candidate shall not be entertained.

Syllabus
The scope of the "Online Assessment" test would cover the syllabi for MCA /8.E.or B.Tech (CS/EC/IT) as prescribed by R.G.P.V. Bhopal (M.P.). The online assessment test would consist of 75 questions on technical ability and 25 questions would be drawn from general awareness and aptitude.

Selection and Engagement
The selected candidates shall be engaged on contract basis for a period of three years only. The contract agreement shall be terminated automatically after completion of contract period of three years (including training period). The contract period will start from the date of joining.

Training
The selected candidates will be given one month institutional training at Central training Institute, Jabalpur. During institutional training, trainees will be provided accommodation on twin sharing basis, if availabl e.

Remuneration
The Programmer (Contract), shall be engaged initially on a lump-sum consolidated month ly honorarium of Rs.35 ,000/- per month plus CUG Sim facility applicable for equivalent cadre or Rs.500/- per month communication allowance , if CUG Sim is not provided. The honorarium may be increased @ I 0%, 5% or 0% by the Company after every one year of contract period, depending upon the performance as defined in MPPKVVCL Samvida Seva (Anubandh tatha Seva ki shaiiein) niyam, 2016. The minimum statutory employer's contribution towards New Pension Scheme shall be exclus ive of above.

General Conditions

The Candidate should be an Indian National.

Candidates working in the Government/ Semi Government/ Public Sector shall have to produce N.O.C from their present employer at the time of joining, failing which they shall not be permitted to join.

All SC/ST applicants of MP domicile will be reimbursed to and fro ordinary second class fare/ bus fare by the shortest route (where train route not available), as per the correspondence address indicated in the online application form, as per rule. The travel fare will be reimbursed in bank account provided in travel fare form (enclosed herewith). Kindly download the same and submit the filled form along with following enclosures after online assessment test is over:

Any dispute arising out of the selection process shall be dealt in the courts situated at Jabalpur only.
