Notice Dated:26.04.2017

Whereas, vide this office Notice dated:05.04.2017 among other candidates, the candidature of SNo.176 namely Mr. Shahnawaz Ahmad Rather was also inadvertently rejected being not in possession of the requisite qualification prescribed for the said post; and

whereas, while rechecking his application form and other documents submitted by him it was found that he is in possession of the requisite qualification prescribed for the post i.e. Masters degree in Mathematics and is eligible for the post; and

whereas, the candidate was accordingly informed and was allowed to appear in the interview for the above said post; and

whereas, while issuing the select list vide Notification No. 20-PSC (DR-S) of 2017 dated:25.04.2017 due to oversight the result of Mr. Shahnawaz Ahmad Rather was shown as ineligible for the post.

Now, therefore, on the basis of the performance in the interview coupled with the weight-age accorded to the marks secured in written test in pursuance of Rule 51 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980 as amended from time to time and other related parameters, the candidate namely Mr. Shahnawaz Ahmad Rather bearing BDNo. 176 has secured 52.50 points under OM Category and is not falling within the selection zone.
