Director, ICAR - Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera, invites applications from the Indian Citizen to fill up the following posts at ICAR - Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera, P.O. Kakori Lucknow 226 101, under the administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi. The post is non-government but pensionable under the New Pension Scheme as formulated by the Government of India. Person appointed against the post will be entitled for HRA and other benefits as per Govt. of India Rules. The details of the posts are as under :

Instructions for the candidates:

1. Age limit: 18-27 years. The crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates will be the date of publication of advertisement notice in the Employment News.

2. Age relaxation: Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates. No age limit for regular I.C.A.R. employees.

3. The posts are Non-government under I.C.A.R but pensionable as per the New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004.

4. The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.

5. No candidate will be paid TA for attending the written examination/selection test.

6. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.

7. Candidates are required to necessarily enclosed self attested copies in support of i) Date of Birth, ii) Educational qualifications, iii) SC/ST/OBC certificate, as prescribed by GOI

   norms etc. alongwith their application. Such applications which do not have required self attested copies of certificates will be rejected.

8. The department will not be responsible for late or non-receipt of applications due to postal delay/other reasons.

9. The envelope containing application should be superscribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _ at _ _.

10. At present, the place of posting is as indicated in the advertisement. However, the person selected are liable to be transferred anywhere in India under CISH/ICAR.

11. The Director, Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera reserves the right either to fill up the posts or reject without assigning any reasons thereof or to increase and decrease the No. of Post shown as vacant.

12. The candidates applying for the post are required to deposit application processing fee in shape of D.D. amounting to Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only in favor of ICAR-Unit CISH, Rehmankhera, in absence of which, the application will not be entertained. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH category and women are exempted from the said application processing fee.

13. The applications of in-service candidates who fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria and can be relieved immediately in the event of their selection, may kindly be forwarded in the prescribed Proforma through proper channel within prescribed time limit, along with

    copies of their up-to-date APAR dossiers of last five years. A certificate to the effect that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending and/or being contemplated against the candidate may also be furnished by the institution while forwarding the application. The in-service candidates may send their advance copy of application directly and original application may be routed through the present employer. The application(s) of such employees will be considered only after receipt of applications through proper channel.

14. The applications without signature/not filled properly and without photograph etc., will not be accepted and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. They will have to submit self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications with the application. The decision of the Director, ICAR-CISH, Rehmankhera in case of any dispute with regard to acceptance/rejection of any application will be final.

15. The interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications in the prescribed proforma in English/Hindi only to Administrative Officer, ICAR - Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera, P.O. Kakori Lucknow 226 101 which should reach to him positively within 30 days from the date of publication to his notice in the Employment News. The application of candidates applying from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladhak Division of J&K State, Lahul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi sub Division of Chamba Distt. of HP and Andeman Nikobar Island and Lakshadweep, may reach within 45 days from the publication of notice.

IV dated 12.12.2011 and 24.1.2012, all the Research Associates/Sr. Research Fellows who have been continuously engaged on contractual basis in time bound projects in different ICAR Institutes are eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit to the extent of their spell (subject to maximum of 16 years 3 months) they were actually engaged as RAs/SRFs in different projects under the umbrella of ICAR, subject to proof of their continuous engagement in the projects.
