6. Scale of Pay: Rs. 9300-34800+4000 (Grade Pay) while during the prescribed training of 30 months direct recruit will get 9300/- per month i.e. minimum of the scale of pay

7. Age: Not below 21 years and not more than 25 years on 01.01.2016. (a) Five year relaxation in upper age limit for Schedule Caste candidates of Haryana Only. (b) The upper age limit for Government employees who have not less than five years service under Haryana Govt. is 35 years. (c) Relaxation in upper age limit is also admissible to physically handicapped candidates of Haryana upto 10 years for the Scheduled Castes and 5 years for general category candidates. (e) The maximum age limit prescribed for appointment to any service or post may be relaxed in favour of disabled ex-servicemen (disability between 20% to 50%) to the extent of their military service added by three years. 13. Any special concession:- Deputy Superintendent Jail/District Probation Officer are entitled to rent free accommodation or in lieu of HRA as per Govt. Rules/instruction as issued from time to time. 14. The selected candidates must be prepared to join duty immediately after selection. 15. The selected person will have prospects of promotion to Superintendent/Chief Probation Officer. 16. The persons appointed will be on probation for two years-extendable three years. 2. Scale of Pay: PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs. 4200/- Grade Pay. 3. Age: A Candidate should not below 17 years and not more than 42 years age as on 28.10.2016 (Closing Date) Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for the candidates belonging to the following categories:-

(a) Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribe, and EBP (General Castes) Category of Haryana Only.

The upper age limit is also relaxable upto 45 years for:

i. Unmarried female candidates of Haryana State Only.

ii. Wives of disabled Ex-servicemen with disability between 20% to 50% and widows of those ex-servicemen who killed in action.

Women living separately from their husbands due to desertion will be required to submit with her application, an affidavit to the effect that she has been deserted by her husband and has been living separately from him for more than two years and this affidavit should be countersigned by two responsible persons such as members of the Legislatures, Local Bodies including Panchayats and the Bar Association. However, a woman who has re-married she would not be eligible for the above concession in the matter of age.

iv. Relaxation in upper age limit is also admissible to physically handicapped candidates of Haryana upto 10 years for the Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes candidates and 5 years for General Category candidates.

v.
