Applications are invited online only by ONE TIME REGISTRATION from qualified

candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe community in the State of Kerala for

selection to the under mentioned post in Kerala Government service.

Note:-The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 26.12.2006 for the post. This is the Fifth NCA notification for the post owing to the non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the first NCA notification (Gazette Dated 30/04/2007, Category Number 154/07) and Second NCA notification (Gazette Dated 13/08/2008, Category Number 291/08). Third NCA notification (Gazette Date 31/12/2009 Category Number 499/09) Fourth NCA notification (Gazette date 28.10.2011 Category No: 382/11& 383/2011)

5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (Recruitment from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe). In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates, Scheduled Tribe candidates and in the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates, scheduled Caste candidates will be considered.

NOTE:Applications of candidates belonging to community other than Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

1. Age : 22-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para 2 of the General Conditions, excluding para 2 (i).]
   
   
   1. Qualifications
      
      
      1. Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record.
         
         
      2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications are equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess
         
         

adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note:	(i)	Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject	are
		exempted from passing the NET examination.

	(ii)	For recruitment to this post, Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized
		by UGC alone shall be considered.
	(iii)	Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

8 a) Mode of submitting Applications:-

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their UserID and password. Candidates must click on the Apply Now button of the respective post in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the UserID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected at any stage if noncompliance with the notification is found in due courseof processing. Documents to prove qualification, age, community etc have to beproduced asand whencalled for.
