ii) The Employees of the General Education Department who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant can apply to the above post even if they have not passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) subject to the condition that they should acquire the KTET qualificationwithin31.03.2018(G.O.(P)No.7/2017/G.Edn.Dated07.04.2017)

iii) Post Graduates in the concerned subject with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are also eligible to apply for the post.

iv) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose.

v) The applicant should have taken physics/Chemistry as main subject for graduation. Degree in Geology (Main) with Physics and Chemistry as subsidiary subjects with B.Ed. Degree (Physical Science) can also be considered as an alternative qualification for the post [G.O (Ms) No 195/96/G.Edn dated 2.7.1996].

vi) The candidates who have acquired B.Sc Ed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post. [G.O(P) No 117/13/G.Edn dt 30.3.13].

vii) Post title degree holders are not eligible to apply for the post.

viii) If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test the Question paper for the written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam. In the case of OMR Answer Script, answers are to be marked as instructed.

ix) The disciplines in which B.Sc/M.Sc and B.Ed Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application.

x) Those candidates who secured B.Ed/B.T Degree from the Universities outside Kerala should note in the application, the number and date of relevant orders declaring the said degree as equivalent to those prescribed for this selection. The copies of such order shall be produced before the commission when it is called for.

Note: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.

(3) Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application.

Note: Candidates should keep a Service Certificate (in original) in the form prescribed below from the Head of Office/Department and produce as and when called for.

2. Mode of submitting applications

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission ' www.keralapsc.gov.in ' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their user ID and password. Candidates must click on the `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading of the photograph. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates can view details in their profile by clicking the link 'Registration Card' in their profile and a printout can be taken if needed. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, community, Age, etc., have to be produced as and when called for. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
