Note: i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in.

ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the Candidates from the Ranked List prepared for direct recruitment.

iii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate services as on the date of application.

iv) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years which ever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the list. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from

the list whichever is earlier.

v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. But as per GO(P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for transfer to the districts of Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts, but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Government Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.

vi) Application should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if selected his/her name will be removed from the ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates should note the name of concerned district against the relevant column of the application.

Vii) The Rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Rule 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS&SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.

  1. Method of Appointment : Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department.
  2. Age limit : Not applicable.
  3. Qualifications:

1 A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.

2 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) for this post conducted by the GovernmentofKerala Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated

30.08.16andG.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn.Dated08.12.2016).

Notei) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognisedasequivalentbyanyoftheUniversitiesinKerala. ii) The Employees of the General Education Department who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant can apply to the above post even if they have not passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) subject to the condition that they should acquire the KTET qualification within 31.03.2018(G.O.(P)No.7/2017/G.Edn.Dated07.04.2017) iii) Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be considered for this post.

iv) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose.

v) The candidates who have acquired B.Sc Ed in Physics Chemistry Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post (GO (P) No 117/13/G Edn dtd 30/3/13).

vi) The disciplines in which B.Sc/M.Sc and B.Ed Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application.

vii) If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test the Question paper for the written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam. In the case of OMR Answer Script, answers are to be marked as instructed.

viii) Those candidates who secured B.Ed/B.T Degree from the Universities outside Kerala should note in the application, the number and date of relevant orders declaring the said degree as equivalent to those prescribed for this selection. The copies of such order shall be produced before the commission when it is called for.

NB: Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post.

3 Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Note: Candidates should keep a Service Certificate (in original) in the form prescribed below from the Head of Office/Department and produce as and when called for.

  2. Mode of submitting applications

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission ' www.keralapsc.gov.in ' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their user ID and password. Candidates must click on the `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading of the photograph. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates can view details in their profile by clicking the link 'Registration Card' in their profile and a printout can be taken if needed. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, community, Age, etc., have to be produced as and when called for. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
