Applications are invited online by One Time Registration exclusively from qualified candidates for selection to the undermentioned post (By transfer recruitment).

Note:

(i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in.

(ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the Ranked List prepared for Direct recruitment.

(iii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service as on the date of application. (5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application). [G.O(MS) No. 8/2009/G.Edn dated: 20.01.2009].

(iv) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the above vacancy and those are reported during the currency of the list. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier.

(v) Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. Candidates should submit the application for this post to the concerned District Office and should note the name of the District against the relevant column of the online application.

(vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms)No.154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS)No.4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.

(vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.

2. Age Limit : Not applicable.

3. Qualifications:

(1) A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.

OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto.

(2) A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.

(3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) for this post conducted by the GovernmentofKerala Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated

30.08.16andG.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn.Dated08.12.2016).

Note:-

(i) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognisedasequivalentbyanyoftheUniversitiesinKerala.

(ii) The Employees of the General Education Department who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant can apply to the above post even if they have not passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) subject to the condition that they should acquire the K-TET qualification within 31.03.2018 (G.O.(P) No. 7/2017/G.Edn. dated 07.04.2017) (iii)B.Ed certificate will not be considered in lieu of TTC

(iv) Candidates who have not studied the Regional language 'Malayalam' either under Part I or Part II or as medium of instruction of SSLC will not be eligible for appointment to the post(G.O (Rt) No. 534/02/G.Education dtd 19.03.2002. G.O (Ms) 44/75/G.Edn dtd. 29.01.1975)

(v) If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test the Question paper for the written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam. In the case of OMR Answer Script, answers are to be marked as instructed.

(4) 5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/ Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application. (G.O (Ms) No.8/2009/G Education dtd. 20.01.2009)

NB: KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.

Candidates should obtain a Service Certificate (in Original) in the form prescribed below from the Head of Office/ Department and produce before Kerala Public Service Commission as and when called for.

8. Mode of Sending applications :-

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission ' www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their user ID and password. Candidates must click on the `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading of the photograph. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates can view details in their profile by clicking the link 'Registration Card' in their profile and a printout can be taken if needed. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing.

Documents to prove qualification, Experience, community, Age, etc., have to be produced as and when called for. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.

3. If Written (Descriptive/OMR/Online) Test is conducted as a part of the selection Admission Tickets of eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination.
