2. Physical fitnessas specifiedbelow, namely;

Must be at least 160 cms height and must be 81.3 cms round the chest on full expiration andmust have a chest expansion of5 cms.

Each eye must have full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint or any other morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification.

(iii) Must befreefrom apparent physical defects llikeknock knee, flat foot, varicoseveins, bow legs, deformedlimbs, irregular andprotruding teeth, defectivespeech andhearing.

(iv) Must qualify in any five (5) events out of Eight (8) events of the National Physical Efficiency OneStar StandardTest, as specifiedbelow.

Note:The physical measurement of candidates will be taken at the time of physical efficiency test and those who do not possess the prescribed physical measurement will not be admitted for the physical efficiency test. If accidents or injuries happened to candidate while participating in the Physical Efficiency Test, he will not be given further chance to participate in the test. The candidates should produce at the time of Physical Efficiency Test, a Medical Certificate in original in the form prescribed hereunder certifying to their physical fitness and eye sight without glasses. The Medical Certificate should be one obtained from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant and the same shall be uploaded in the OTR profile by the candidates at the time of certificate verification.

Note:-Details regarding standards of vision should be clearly stated in the Certificate

as given above and vague statement such as vision Normal/Good will not be

accepted. Specification for each eye should be stated separately. If the specifications

are not as indicated above, the officer issuing the Certificate should certify whether

the candidate has got better standards of vision or worse standards of vision as the

case may be, otherwise the certificate will not be accepted.

8 Modeof Submitting application:

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their UserID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken on or after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall valid for 10 years from the date of photograph taken. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the UserID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. "Candidates who have AADHAAR Card should addAADHAAR CardasI.Dproof in their profile".

11 Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3

(c) of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules are not applicable to this selection.

12 Appointment are made on the basis of the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958.

13 If a Written / OMR Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket 15 days prior to the Examination will alone bepermittedtoattend theexamination.
