Applications are invited from qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State for selection to the following post. 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Noother agerelaxation will beallowed.

Note:In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed50 (Fifty)years.

7 Qualifications:

I Post Graduate Degree in Commerce or Business Economics OR Economics with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.

II 1) B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent theretoby any University in Kerala.

2)	In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquiredafter a regular course of study in the concerned faculty as specifiedin theActs andStatutes ofany oftheUniversities in Kerala.
3)	In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified in items (1) and (2) above, persons with B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognizedas equivalent theretoby any oftheUniversities in Kerala.
4)	In theabsence of B.EdDegree holders, candidates having Masters Degree with not less than 50% marks and who have passed State Eligibility Test will be considered. Preference will be given to those who have acquired Ph.D Degree or M.Phil Degree or qualified as Junior Research Fellowship/National Eligibility Test. The teachers appointed under this provision will have toacquire B.Ed Degree at their own expense within 5 years from thedateofentry in service.
5)	Persons who have acquired M.Ed in the subject concerned after a regular course of study and recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala are exemptedfrom B.Edqualification.

Note:Part II Rule 10(a)ii of KS & SSR regarding qualification is applicable for this selection.

Must have passed the State Eligibility Test for the post of Non Vocational Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by theStateGovernment.

Note:All the educational qualifications for teaching post should be one acquired after a regular course of study from a recognized University in Kerala or recognizedas equivalent theretoby any oftheUniversities in Kerala.

Exemptions

1) Those persons who have passed the State Level Eligibility Test for the post of College Lecturers conducted by Government of Kerala are exempted from the StateEligibility Test for Non Vocational Teacher.

2) The persons who have passed the State Eligibility Test for the post HSST conducted by Govt. of Kerala are exempted from the State Eligibility Test for Non Vocational Teacher.

3) Those persons who have passed the National Eligibility Test/Junior Research Fellowshipshall beexemptedfrom passing theStateEligibility Test.

4) Persons with Ph.D/M.Phil/M.Ed Degree shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test provided the M.Phil in the concerned subject should be one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent theretoby any oftheUniversities in Kerala.

5) Those who have submited PhD Thesis and Mphil shal be exempted from SET upto the time of exemption granted by the UGC from time to time as in the caseofcandidates having theabovequalifications from passing NET.

Explanation : Non Vocational Teacher (Junior)means post having work loadofbelow 15 periodper week per subject.

8. Probation : Every person appointedtothepost shall from thedateon which he/she joins duty beon probation for a total periodoftwoyears on duty within a continuous periodofthreeyears.

9 Modeof Submitting application:

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have already registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their UserID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a printout of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registeration Card. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of each application, the candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the UserID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is treated as provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. Those who have Adhaar card should add Adhaar card asIdentity proof in their Profle.

12 Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3

(C) of Part II of the kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) are not applicable to this selection.

13 Appointment are made on the basis of the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958.

14 Ifa written Test/OMR Test is conductedas part oftheselection, Admission Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in their profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calender, candidate can download Admission Tickets for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloadedtheAdmission Tickets wil alonebepermitedtoattend theexamination.
