FIFTH NCA NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited Online only by ONE TIME REGISTRATION from qualified ST candidates for selection to the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service.

Note : The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the above community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 07.05.2010 for the post. This is the fifth NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the first NCA Notification (Gazette Date. 31.12.2010, Category No. 494/2010), Second NCA Notification (Gazette Date.16.07.2012, Category No. 388/2012), Third NCA Notification (Gazette Date 26.12.2014, Category No. 596/2014) and Fourth NCA Notification (Gazette Date 26.07.2016, Category No. 205/2016).

5 Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes. But applications of 'SC' candidates will be considered in the absence of qualified 'ST' candidates).

Note : Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than those mentioned in this

notification will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

6 Age Limit : 22-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 1.1.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.(as per the age relaxation described in para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note:-For other conditions regarding age relaxations, please see para (2) of the General Conditions (except Para 2(i)).

7. Qualifications :

1. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Masters Degree in the concerned subject (Mathematics) with not less than 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record.
   
   
2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically
   
   

conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government in this behalf. When qualifications are equal, preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note:	(i)	Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject are
		exempted from passing the NET examination(G.O.(P)No.86/07/H.Edn
		dated 19.06.2007)
	(ii)	For recruitment to the above post, Degrees awarded by the Universities
		recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.
	(iii)	KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable.

8.(a) Method of submitting Applications:-

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the Apply Now button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualifications, age, community etc have to be produced as and when called for.

b) If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination.
