7 Qualifications:

1 Masters Degreein Psychology or Education with not less than 50%marks from a recognizedUniversity.

2 (a) Specialization in Vocational guidanceor

(b) Diploma in Vocational guidance granted by a State Vocational Guidance Bureau or a recognized Teachers Training College in the State or Masters Degree in any subject from a recognizedUniversity.

3 Experience in the field of educational or vocational guidance work for a periodof not less than five years of which at least three years shouldbe in a supervisory capacity from any organization of Government/Quasi Government or from any institution recognized with or recognized by Government.

The experience should be one gained or acquired after the academic qualification.

Probation : Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joining duty beon probation.

a) If recruited to this post for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous periodofthree years on duty and

b) If appointed by promotion for a total period of one year on duty within a continuous period of two years. Every person appointed by direct recruitment to this post shall within the period of probation. Pass the Department Test on Employment Exchange procedure, Account Test (Lower) and Test in the Manual of officeprocedure if he/she has not already passedthetest.

Note:1) PartII Rule 10(a)iiofKS&SSR regarding qualification is applicable for this selection.

Candidates can view and have a printout of the details in the profile by clicking thelink Registeration Card. Candidates areresponsiblefor thecorrectness of thepersonal information andsecrecy ofpassword. Beforethefinal submission ofeach application, the candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the UserID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is treated as provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, experience, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add, AADHAAR card as ID proofin their profile.

12 Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in Rule 3 (C), Part II of thekerala Stateand Subordinate ServiceRules) arenot applicabletothisselection.

13 Appointments are made on the basis of the rank secured in the ranked list of candidates prepared in pursuance of this notification subject to the conditions laid down in G.O(Ms)No.142/72/PD dated 13.04.1972, G.O (Ms)No.309/73/PD dated 29.11.1973, G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated, 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated, 22.01.1994 allowing special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with the procedures made for this purpose from time to time and subject to the rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of Kerala Stateand SubordinateServiceRules, 1958.
