The appointment shall be on contractual basis initiafly for a period of One Year which can be extended further for another one year depending upon the performance appraisal. Scope of work

The person selected for these positions will assist the State Mission Director, SBM in implementing the respective components of SBM at the State level. The position is a contractual engagement, initially for one year. Renewal of contract shall be done after one year based on performance appraisal. The incumbent will directly report to the State Mission Director, SBM. He / She will work closely with and support the terms at the city level responsible for respective component of SBM. The person will need to travel to the ULBs of the state as and when required. The person should have good command on writing and speaking both Hindi and English language .

Sanitation Expert

Qualification: - B.Tech / M.Tech Civil Engineering/ Environment Engineering / Public Health Engineer ing.

Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of public health engineering and sanitation, Project Management and Monitoring & Evaluation.

Responsibility :-

1x. To assist SBM- State Mission Directorate (SMD) in implementing State Sanitation Policy in the State.

  1. To give technical inputs in implementing construction ofI HHL, Community Toilets and Public Toilets.

  2. To assist SBM-SMD (State Mission Directorate) in monitoring of implementation of SWM in

ULBs .

x11. To perform any other functions assigned to him/her under SBM.

x111. To act under the direct supervision of Mission Director and SBM-SMD.

xiv . Provide technical back up support including review of detailed designs prepared for Solid Waste Management and provide necessary advice to the ULBs as requ ired.

xv. Assist in implementation of overall strategy for Solid Waste Management in State with a time bound action plan for imp le mentat ion.

xv1. Review the city sanitation Plans and Detailed Project Report (DPR) for precision and detail and provide feedback as necess ary.

Competencies/Preference for Experts (SBM)

I-Candidates who have knowledge of State Government procedure and have good understanding of noting and drafting in Hindi and English will be given preference.

  1. The person should be proficient with MS office.

  2. Should have acknowledged capabilities in partnership management.

  3. Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills; ability to handle large scale planning. 5-Should possess good and consistent academic records.

6-Experience of working with Government institutions especially in Urban Development Department will be

given preference .
