Advertisement for the position of temporary Research Staff

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of Research Staffof Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Research Centre Imarat (RCI- Hyderabad), India sponsored Project (vide sanction letter RCI/DCMM/LPD/CARS-389, dated 17.01.2017) entitled Modeling and Simulation of energy harvesting using piezo materials and super capacitors.

First class B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering/TechnologyandMechanical Engineering (Vibrations) First class M.E./M.Tech in Power Electronics & Drives/Control Engineering/ Digital Signal Processing/Instrumentation

Engineering/Technology

Nature of work

  • Mathematical modelling of Piezo materials & super capacitors and its analysis

  • Use of computer programming for development efficient algorithms for vibration energy harvesting by using suitable software

  • Simulation of specialized rectifiers/ DC-DC converters and its operation in digital domain

  • Use of Batteries, super capacitors, energy harvesting kit, Digital

signal processors for standardizing algorithms and simulation study.

Duration

18months

Consolidated salary

25, 000/- pm.

The selected candidate is eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities at their own expenses.

Candidates who are already employed should produce No objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer and students should provide provisional degree certificate or its equivalentat the time of interview. The selected candidate is expected to produce a Relieving Certificate from their employer or provisional degree certificate in case of students and join the duties within a week afterintimation of their selection else it would be offered to a candidate in waiting list.
