Head Credit Risk (Corporate Credit)

Role & Responsibilities

The Head- Credit Risk (Corporate Credit) reporting to Head-Risk Management cum Group Chief Risk Officer of the Bank will be responsible for:

  • Implementing the Credit Risk Management Policy of the Bank for IRB Corporate Credit portfolio so as to align it with the best International Risk Management practices.

  • Putting quality IRB analytical architecture as per Credit Risk Management Policy of the Bank

  • Governance of corporate credit risk modules

  • Building, maintaining and reporting of economic capital models relating to corporate credit exposure of the Bank

  • Satisfying regulator(s) on IRB requirements relating to corporate credit exposure of the Bank

Job Specific Skills

  • Insights of putting robust PD, LGD and EAD models and allocating capital under IRB approach of the Basel rules.

  • Understanding of Statistical concepts of analyzing credit risk data and developing economic & IRB capital VaR model and development, back testing and governance of Corporate Credit rating models.

  • Sound knowledge of credit risk appraisal

  • Build and lead the team of corporate credit risk cell

Educational Qualification

The candidate must be minimum graduate from a recognized university. Over and above the said qualification, the candidate must possess minimum one of the following qualifications, as well:

  • Financial Risk Management (FRM) from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)

  • Professional Risk Management (PRM) from Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA)

  • Graduate in Statistics from a reputed Institute (ISI, IISc, IGIDR, etc.).

  • MBA with specialization in Banking and Finance

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience of working in a banking / financial institution out of which minimum 5 years in development and

maintenance of corporate credit risk model and related analytics.

Profile

  • Understanding and experience of Statistical Concepts (various types of regression, classification, clustering etc) related to credit risk models

  • Having knowledge in the areas of ICAAP and stress testing

  • Implementation of qualitative and quantitative requirements of IRB approach of Basel II guidelines, on Credit Risk.

  • Having understanding of modeling of PD, LGD, EAD as per Basel II credit risk guidelines

  • Skill and knowledge of data management (cleaning, transformation, tabulation, aggregation etc.) of data for statistical analysis

CTC Offered:

The Candidate will be selected on regular basis in the rank of Senior Management Grade / Scale-V.

Emoluments

At present, initial CTC at the initial level of Senior Management Grade/Scale V, including DA, Special Allowance, HRA, CCA and all perks and benefits, etc. as admissible as per rules of the Bank, in force from time to time is approximately ` 28,24,000/- per annum, in a Metropolitan Centre. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting. In addition, various other benefits like medical insurance coverage, other insurance, concessional staff loans, attractive terminal benefits (on retirement), LTC, Bank residential quarters in lieu of HRA, etc. are admissible.

Bank reserves the right to engage the candidate on contract basis if no such suitable candidate is found for selection on a regular basis. In such case, contractual engagement will be for 3 years with yearly performance review. Compensation will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate and will be discussed on a case to case basis.
