Walk-in-interview will be held on 31 May 2017 at 11:00 am at Agricultural & Ecological Research Unit (AERU) Seminar Room (2nd Floor, Kolomogorov Bhawan) in the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata for recruitment of one (01) Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work full time in the project entitled "Invasive alien species - a friend or foe?" in the Agricultural and Ecological Research Unit of the Institute, Kolkata.

Essential: Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science from a recognised University/ Institute, with a good academic record.

Desirable: Some filed experience as well proficiency in doing field surveys and/or plant and soil chemical analysis with a working knowledge in computer application.

f15000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) per month (consolidated with no other allowances).

The duration of the appointment will be initially till 31 March 2018 from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/terminated earlier based on performance and availability of the required fund.

Should not exceed 35 years as on O1 May 2017. Age may be relaxed for SC/ ST/ OBC/ differently abled candidates. Age may be relaxed for highly deserving candidate.
