Applications in prescribed form are invited from citizens of India for filling up of6 (Six) posts of Extension Officer (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted) and 3 (Three) posts of Economic Investigator (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted) under the Department of Industr ies, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh in the pay scale of Rs. 9300-38400/- +Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- PM plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. Employees from time to time.

1. The details of vacancy position and reservation of both the post are given below:

   1. EXTENSION OFFICER (Total post & reservation): The total no. of post is 6 (six) out of which S (five) posts are reserved for APST of which 1 (one) post is reserved for Physically handicapped candidate and 1 (one) post un-reserved i.e. open competition. The nature of disability shall be partially deaf and partially blind.

   2. ECONOMIC INVESTIGATOR (Total post & reservation) : The total no. of post is 3 (three). All the posts are reserved for APST candidate.

   NB : The Commission will hold Recruitment Test (Multiple ChoiceObjecti ve type written examination) for the above mentioned post. No supporting documents (except photographs and DD / IPO) is to be submitted for admission to Recruitment Test.The candidates who qualify in Recruitment Test and admitted towritten examination shall have to furnish all supporting documents.

2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

   1. Extension Officer (Ind) : 3 years Diploma in Engineering for General and

      2 years Diploma/Certificate in Engineering for APST candidate from a recognised Institute or Graduate in Arts, Commerce and Science from any recognised university.

   2. Economic Investigator (Ind) : Candidate applying for the post must be Graduate in Arts/Commerce with Economic or Statistics as one of the subject from a recognized University.

   The students in Final Year/Final Semester of the required educational qualification for the post shall also be eligible to apply. However, such provisional admission to the recruitment test shall be subject to production of required Certificates/Marksheets in original issued by recognized Institute/University as the case may be. Without original Certificate/marksheet, no candidate shall be allowed to appear in Viva-voce

3. AGE LIMIT FOR BOTH POST : The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have exceeded the age of 30 years on 09-05.2017. However, the upper age limit is relaxa ble in accordance with the instruction issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.

4. METHOD OF EXAMINATION :

   The eligible candidates will have to appear in Recruitment Test (Objective) followed by written examination in the following subjects and viva-voce test to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar.

   (a)	General English	100 Marks
   (b)	General Knowledge	100 Marks
   (c)	Elementary Mathematics (Class x standard)	100 Marks
   (d)	Viva-voce	40 Marks
   	Total	340 Marks

   The candidate who secured a minimum of 33% marks or more in each written examination papers and 45% or more marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for Viva-voce test. On the other hand, it will further mean that selection for viva-voce test shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination papers and subject to ratio 1:3. The candidates securing less than 33% of marks in any of written examination paper shall no notbe eligible for appearing in the viva-voce test.

5. Availability of application form:

   Application form for admission to recruitment examination of the above can be obtained from the Commission's Office, Itanagar on all working days from 10 AM to 4 PM upto 09-05-2017 on payment of Rs. 1 00 / - only for APST candidates and Rs.160/- only

   for General candidates. No separate exam fee in the form of Demand Draft/Treasury Challan will be required further along with the application. The exam fee has been included with the cost of the application form for convenience of the applicant.

   Further, application form and attendance sheet can also be downloaded from Commission's Website www.appsc .go v.in and it can be sent through post enclosing required fee in the form of Demand Draft/IPO in favour of the Secretary , Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar. The envelope must be super-scribed on its body "APPLICATION FORM FOR THE POST OF "EXTENSION OFFICER" and

   "ECONOMIC INVESTIGATOR". Last date for receiving of application form by the Commission is upto 09-05-2017.

6. . How to Apply:

   i) 2(two) copies of recent colour pass-port size photographs with self attestation in the front side which should be pasted on the space provided in the application form and attendance sheet.

7. Last date for receipt of application:

   The last date for receipt of application form for both the post by the Commission is upto 09-0 5-20 17.

8. Other CONDITIONS:

   1. Separate application form will be issued to the candidates who qualiied for the written examination.

   2. The number of candidates to be admitted to the written examination will be about 12 times of number of vacancies to be filled up.

   3. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate admission to the Interview or Selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.

   4. Application in the prescribed form should be submitted in the Reception counter in a Cover/Enveloped superscribed APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF "EXTENSION OFFICER" and "ECONOMIC INVESTIGATOR", and obtain receipt from the counter to ensure his/her submission of application form.

   5. The Commission will be not be responsible for delay in receipt of application due to any reason whatsoever.

   6. Application form not fulfilling as stipulated in theapplication form will be rejected.
