WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ WALK-IN-PERSONAL DESCUSION

Desert Medicine Research Centre, Jodhpur is a one of the 32 Institutes/ Centres of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), an autonomous body under the Department of Health Research, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. DMRC was established in 1984 with the mandate to

• Undertake and promote research on health problems specific to desert areas.

• Study the changing patterns of health problems especially in view of various developmental activities taking place in the region.

• Strengthen the scientific and technical expertise of the state level as well as local health agencies.

The following posts are to be filled up on contract basis (purely temporary basis) initially for a period upto 12 months under the various projects.

PROJECT (1) : ICMR task Force Study entitled Assessment of Iodine Status among Pregnant Women in Selected Districts of India.

PROJECT (2) : Improving Health and Nutritional Status of Vulnerable Segment of Population by Implementing Multi-component Health and Nutrition Education Intervention as Sustainable Model of Intervention- An ICMR Task Force Study. (In Rajasthan, Four Districts).

PROJECT (3): Tribal Health Research Unit (THRU), DMRC, Jodhpur.

POSTS: Technician-III (Field Workers) : 07 posts (UR-04, OBC-01, SC-01 and ST-01) .

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years.

Salary: Rs. 18000/- per month (Consolidated).

Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science Subject and 2 years field / laboratory experience in Govt. recognized organization.

*B. Sc. Degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.

Nature of job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India/ICMR rules and guidelines.

Experience will be considered after achieving the eligible qualification. In case of candidates appearing are more than 30.

Candidates possessing the above qualifications may attend for walk-in-written test / Personal discussion at DMRC campus, Jodhpur. They should report on 23/05/2017 before 10.00 A.M. at Desert Medicine Research Centre, New Pali Road, Jodhpur -342 005.

Those appearing for walk-in- written test/ personal discussion should bring with them (1) All Certificates/ Testimonials in Original. (2) One attested copy each of the Certificate/ Testimonial.

General condition: The appointment will be on contract basis and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for any regular employment at DMRC/ICMR etc.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Written Test/ Walk-in-Personal Discussion.
