HAL's spectrum of expertise encompasseshi- tech programmes involving a number of state of the art technology, design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul and upgrade of Aircraft, Helicopters, Aero- engines, Industrial & Marine Gas Turbines, Accessories, Avionics & Systems and structural components for Satellites & Launch vehicles.

Transport Aircraft Division of HAL located in Kanpur City of Uttar Pradesh is currently engaged in manufacture and overhaul of DO-228, a 19 seater multi-role utility aircraft, repair and overhaul of other transport, trainer aircraft and their rotables and is venturing into several other new projects in Aerospace Industry.

1. REQUIREMENT

   HAL, Transport Aircraft Division, Kanpur invites applications, only in the prescribed Format , from eligible and willing doctors for Engagement as Visiting Consultant (Specialist Doctor) for its Hospital at HAL Township, Kanpur.       The above mentioned qualification should be recognized by MCI (Medical Council of India)/ DCI (Dental Council of India), in case of Dentist.

3. POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE

   Minimum 05 years in the relevant stream/ discipline as on 01.10.2016.

4. UPPER AGE LIMIT

   65 years as on 01.10.2016.

5. PERIOD OF ENGAGEMENT

   The initial Engagement will be for a period of 02 years. Further, extension of Engagement, as per Company's policy, may be considered based on performance of the Visiting Consultant (Specialist Doctor) and also, upon requirement of the Division .

6. REPORTING

   The Visiting Consultant (Specialist Doctor) would be reporting to a designated regular Doctor in the Division/ Hospital.

7. REMUNERATION

   The remuneration payable to the Visiting Consultant (Specialist Doctor) would be fixed, within the ceiling of Rs. 2500/- per visit. Remuneration fixed per visit would be revised by 10%, every two years. In addition, the Visiting Consultant (Specialist Doctor) would be eligible for Conveyance Charges, as applicable to the Company's Officers when they travel in their own vehicle for Official Duty as per the Company's TA/ DA Rules. Present rate is Rs. 12/- per km. However, minimum Conveyance Reimbursement would be Rs 250/- per visit.

   
   

   OTHER BENEFITS AND GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

   1. i. The engagement of Visiting Consultants (Specialist Doctors) will be purely temporary andwill not confer any right to them to claim the status of a regular employee of the Company.

   2. The Visiting Consultants (Specialist Doctors) will not be entitled for any other Allowance or Benefits other than those indicated above.

   3. The Visiting Consultants (Specialist Doctors) will abide by the Company's Rules &

   4. Regulations governing their engagement.

      The Visiting Consultants (Specialist Doctors) will safeguard the security and confidentiality of all official matters and secrecy of information coming to their knowledge.

   5. The Visiting Consultants (Specialist Doctors) will be covered under the Income Tax, Service Tax, Professional Tax etc., as per the applicable Rules. All such Taxes would be deducted from the remuneration payable to them.

TERMINATION OF ENGAGEMENT

The Engagement of the Visiting Consultant (Specialist Doctor) will stand automatically terminated on completion o{ the prescribed tenure as specified in the Offer of Engagement. The Engagement can be terminated even earlier, with 01 month Notice in writing by either side or payment (Consolidated Remuneration equivalent to the amount payable for 05 visits) in lieu of the Notice.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Suitable candidates from amongst the applicants would be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates would be called for an interview.
