Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (OJ) to work in a SERB Research Project entitled "Risk Reduction of Myocardial Infarction and Stroke through Life Style Modification" sanctioned for the period of 3 years. The tenure of fellowship will be co-terminus with the scheme and stipend payable will be Rs.25000/- +HRA per month for the first Two years and Rs.28000/-+HRA per month for the 3rd year as per SERB rules.

The candidates should be M.P.H. (Master in Public Health) /M.Sc. (Epidemiology/Physiology/ Biochemistry)/M.S. W. (Master in Social Work) or a related field with 55% marks and have qualified NET or GATE. The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).AII things being equal, SC/ST candidates will prefer as per GOI rules.

Desirable qualification, if any; Two year work experience in Community Based Health Research Project and Basic computing skills
