Applications are invited on plain paper giving full bio-data with passport size self-attested photograph, attested copies of mark-sheets, certificates and other necessary documents in support of qualification for the post of Technical Assistant and Office Assistant (purely on contractual basis) under DST Sponsored Project entitled, DST-PURSE Programme (5050) sanctioned for 02 years (tentatively up to July, 2019). Engagement will be ini tial ly for six months, but can be extended. Number of posts and essential qualifications are mentioned below.

The upper age limit is 30 years. Relaxation in age will be admissible as per GOI/ Un iversity norms. Though the posts are unreserved, reserved category applicants will be considered for inclusion in the panel to fill consequential vacancies in future. The applications should reach the Dean, Faculty of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, within 21 days of this advertisement.

There shall be skill/ written test (on general science and skill based knowledge) of 1:00 hr duration on 19.06.2017 (i.e., Monday) in Lecture Theatre Complex, Institute of Science, BHU at 10.00 a.m. The list of eligible candidates for test will be uploaded on BHU website. So, the candidates are hereby informed to access BHU website. No TA/DA will be paid.

Note: Eligible candidates are advised to report at 9:30 a.m. at Lecture Theatre Complex, Institute of Science, BHU on 19.06.2017 for the test.
