5. Brief Job Description The laboratory technician should collect blood samples from the field for the ICMR sponsored multi-centre study to assess the impact of Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign in India. He/she has to travel across the entire Trivandrum district with the team. He/she is responsible to assure adherence to the safety precautions in the field and should be very meticulous with the standard operating procedures. We need to collect blood samples from infants, children and adult women. He/she has to ensure that the blood samples are reaching SCTIMST in a safe and prompt way.
