JUNIOR MEDICAL OFFICER (TEMPORARY)

For a Research Project entitled "Mobile Telemedicine Project for Wayanad" P-5345

1. Qualification & Experience (1) MBBS degree from a MCI recognized Institution.

(Essential) (2) Willingness to reside in Wayanad District for the project period.

Willingness to travel extensively, especially in tribal areas in Wayanad District during the project period.

(4)

Willingness to learn and apply new technologies in Healthcare.

1. Qualification & Experience Prior experience in working with tribes.
   
   
2. (Desirable) Work experience in field studies. Experience in working in Wayanad District. Preference will be given to those from Wayanad District.

5. Brief Job Description : The JMO (Tele-medicine) shall be posted as the team leader in each of the two tele-medicine vans that aims to provide secondary health care services to the PHC/CHCs in Wayanad District. In the early phase of the project. the Doctor will be posted in different institutions to get familiarized with the consultants, before giving responsibility of the tele-medicine van. The Doctor should have a genuine interest in the welfare of tribal people and should have an inclination to use newer technologies in Healthcare. He/she should develop cordial relationships with the peripheral Doctors and the Consultants.
