The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) intends to engage two position of Project Associate (Teaching) in its Academic Division for coordination of Teaching and related work for one-year Post Graduate Diploma Courses. The engagement for the following courses will be on contract basis only, initially for one year, which may be extended as per requirement and satisfactory performance.

i) P.G. Diploma in Buddhist Studies

ii) P.G. Diploma in Manuscriptology & Palaeography

Name of Position : Project Associate (Teaching)

Number of Position : 02 (one in each discipline)

Duration : One year

Remuneration : Rs. 40,000/- per month (consolidated)

Age limit : Not more than 40 years as on 3rd August, 2018

Educational Qualification :

i) Buddhist Studies : Ph.D/M.Phil/NET Qualified in Buddhist

Studies from any recognized University with two years of experience in Teaching and/or Research in the relevant field.

ii) Manuscriptology& Palaeography : Ph.D/M.Phil/NET Qualified in Sanskrit/

MA in Sanskrit/Acharya from any recognized University.

Knowledge all the important scripts is must along with two years of manuscriptology teaching and manuscript editing experience.

Job Responsibilities :

The major responsibilities of the Project Associate(Teaching) will be related to admission to the courses, organization and conducting of classes, attendance, examination and any other assignments related to the courses. Taking classes and conducting field work.

Walk-in-Interview will be held on 3rd August, 2018. The Walk-in-Interview for the P.G. Diploma course in Manuscriptology and Palaeography will be held at 11:00 am and for P.G. Diploma course in Buddhist Studies will be held at 2:00 pm in the Academic Division, IGNCA, 3rd Floor, Block A, 11, Mansingh Road, New Delhi. Nearest Metro Station is Central Secretariat (Gate No. 2). Candidates are requested to report one hrs. before for registration purpose. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for interview. Candidates are requested to bring original certificates for verification.

The IGNCA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons. The decision of the IGNCA regarding selection and/or engagement shall be final.
