The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) intends to engage one Editor(Hindi) and one Assistant Editor (Hindi) on contractual basis in the Publication unit of Sutradhara Division of IGNCA on short term contract. The eligibility criteria is as under:-

EDITOR (HINDI)

1. Number of post - 01 (One)

2. Remuneration - Rs.50,000/- per month.

3. Age limit - Not more than 45 years as on 30.11.2018.

4. Mode of Selection - Screening of eligibility followed by Walk-in-interview.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

Master in Journalism/ Mass Communication from reputed Institution recognized by UGC.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum five years of service in the field of journalism in national newspapers/magazines of national repute in Hindi/Publication house.

DESIRABLE:

Experience of publishing books or editing magazines. Sound knowledge of book publishing.

ASSISTANT EDITOR (HINDI)

1. Number of position 01 (One)

2. Remuneration Rs.30,000/- per month

3. Age limit Not more than 35 years as on 30.11.2018.

4. Mode Screening of eligibility followed by Walk-in-interview.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Master in Journalism/ Mass Communication from reputed Institution.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three years of service in Magazine/Newspaper/ News agency of Hindi language of national repute.

DESIRABLE:

Must have knowledge and experience of translation from English to Hindi.

Walk-in-interviews for the position of Editor (Hindi) will be held on 30.11.2018 at 11:00 am and for the position of Assistant Editor(Hindi) at 2:30 pm in the room of Director (Publication) Ist Floor, C.V.Mess, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 (Nearest Metro Station, Central Secretariat, Gate No.2). Candidates are requested to report one hour before for verification of original certificates. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the interview.

The IGNCA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigned any reasons. The decision of the IGNCA regarding selection of application for interview and or engagement shall be final and binding.
