EMPC, IGNOU invites applications for the following vacancies on 6 months contract basis (renewable) in Gyan Vani FM Radio Stations. The contract for superannuated/retired persons can be given upto the age of 65 years (for Station Managers and Assistant Station Managers of AIR/DOORDARSHAN) and 62 years (for Accountant-cum-Office Assistants and Technical Assistants). The vacancies for all the four contractual positions exist at:

LOCATIONS:- Allahabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Cochin, Chandigarh, Delhi, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Madurai, Raipur, Varanasi, Jabalpur, Tirunelveli.

1. 1. Station Managers (on a consolidated amount between Rs.20,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- per month). Likely to be revised upward.
   
   

Qualifications & Experience:

1. (A) Post Graduate from a recognized University in any subject and a Degree/Diploma in Mass Communications and Journalism (or related areas).
   
   
2. (B) Minimum five years experience in Programme Production/Media Management in a supervisory capacity.
   
   

OR

1. (C) Superannuated/retired persons from AIR/DD/other Central or State Govt. Broadcast organizations/private channels of repute having experience in management of production/broadcasting preferably not below the rank of Assistant Station Director/Assistant Station Engineer.
   
   

1. 2. Assistant Station Managers (on a consolidated amount between Rs.15,000/- to Rs.20,000/- per month). Likely to be revised upward.
   
   

Qualification & Experience:

1. (A) Graduate from a recognized University with Degree/Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism (or related areas) from a recognized University.
   
   

Experience in Programme Production/Programme Management/Journalism for at least one year. Preference will be given to those having experience in Audio Programme Production.

OR

1. (B) Superannuated/Retired Transmission Executive/Programme Executive/Assistant Engineer or above from AIR/DD/other Central or State Govt. broadcast organization and private channel of repute.
   
   

1. 3. Accountant cum office Assistant (on a consolidated amount between Rs.8000/- to Rs.10,000/- per month). Likely to be revised upward.
   
   

Qualification & Experience:

1. (A) Graduate in commerce from a recognized University with atleast one year of experience in accountancy and with competency in computer application.
   
   

OR

1. (B) Superannuated/retired Accounts Officer/Accountant level officer of Central/State Government/PSU/private channel of repute.
   
   
2. 4. Technical Assistant (on a consolidated amount between Rs.8,000/- to Rs.10,000/- per month). Likely to be revised upward.
   
   

Qualification & experience:

1. (A) Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Communication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institute/University.
   
   

One year experience in operation and maintenance of Broadcast equipment. Knowledge of Audio recording/editing will be desirable.

OR

1. (B) Superannuated/retired Engineering Assistant or above from AIR/DD/other central/state Govt. organizations/private channel of repute.
