Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

Institute invites applications by email from Indian nationals for the following position purely on temporary and contractual basis:

While sending the email, please write Application for the position of Horticulturist in the subject line of the email.

Eligible candidates who have submitted application on or before April 03, 2019 by email as above, only shall be considered for the selection process. Date, time and venue of interview will be communicated to the shortlisted applicants by email.

At the time of interview, applicants need to bring application form which was sent to the above email ID, self-attested photocopies of certificates in support of educational qualification, experience, date of birth and in support of information submitted in the application form and one recent passport size colour photograph.

The applicant must also bring all the original certificates at the time of interview for the purpose of verification.

General Information / details about the post

1. Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on completion of requirement.
   
   
2. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in IISER Pune.
   
   
3. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
   
   
4. Relaxation in age, educational qualification and or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious applicants, with prior approval of the competent authority.
   
   
5. The prescribed Essential Qualifications / Experience indicated are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidates to be called for the selection process. Where number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for the Institute to call all eligible candidates for selection process. The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for selection process to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than that of the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The candidates should, therefore, furnish full details of qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant fields, over and above the minimum prescribed. Documentary evidences will be verified during the selection process.
   
   
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
   
   
7. Selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
   
   
8. No interim enquiries / correspondence / communication of any sort will be entertained on the matter.
   
   
9. Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence, political, or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
