Subject: Walk-in-interview for a project staff position (Research Assistant)

Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant in the research project titled, Growth and Convergence in Indian states: Role of Credit Spillovers and Social Banking (F. No. IMPRESS/P2929/135/2018-19/ICSSR) funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the supervision of undersigned. The position is purely temporary and is available immediately after the selection of the candidate.

Positions: 01 (Research Assistant)

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- (Within ICSSR limits and Norms).

Duration: 6 months (extendable every 6 months with the maximum duration of the project of 18 months, based on the performance).

Essential Qualifications: As per the ICSSR guidelines.

MA/M.Sc in Economics only under regular program with minimum 55% marks and preferred specialisation in Econometrics and Statistics. Final year candidates may also apply. The candidate must have knowledge of handling various econometric software such as STATA, EVIEWS, and also various economic databases such as PROWESS, INDIASTAT etc.

Please note that no TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing to the interview.
