Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) /project assistant to work in the DST sponsored project entitled Advanced materials towards electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction for sustainable energy conversion under the supervision of undersigned. The Position is temporary and is available immediately. The selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph. D. program as per the existing institute rules.

Positions: 1 JRF /project assistant

Duration: 3.0 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier (the position is purely temporary and performance will be reviewed periodically)

Emoluments: As per DST norms.

Walk-in Interview date: On 30th May 2019 (Thu) (Reporting time: 10:00 AM, Department Office, Department of Chemistry, IIT Ropar, Transit Campus, Rupnagar - 140001, Punjab).

Qualifications:

First Class (6.5 grades point out of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in Master or equivalent degree in Chemistry/ Materials Science, with qualified NET or GATE for JRF. Candidates without NET/GATE qualifications may be considered for project assistant position.
