Advertisement for the post of Guest Faculty (01)

Applications are invited for appointment of Guest Faculty (01) in the Centre for Medical Physics for the period February to May, 2019.

Essential Qualifications:

(i)

Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level in Medical Physics/Physics (M.Sc. degree in Physics with Nuclear Physics or Radiation Physics) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

(ii)

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have either cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR OR should have obtained Ph. D. Degree in the relevant subject.

(iii) NET shall not be required for such disciplines for which NET is not conducted.

The above assignment is on lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1000/per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 25,000/-per month. The candidate shall have to undertake that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency and will do the same till they are teaching in the Centre for Medical Physics as a Guest Faculty.

The date of interview is 11.03.2019 at 2.30 p.m. No TA/DA will be paid for interview.
