Applications are invited for said positions for BioNEST-Panjab University at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. There will be no financial liability on the part of the university, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.

Project: BioNEST-SAEN- BROE: Beyond Reach of Eyes -Beyond Reach of Eyes aims to develop a handheld device for testing the vigour and viability of the bulk amount of seeds through hybrid of imaging technique and radio frequency based spectroscopy.

In this project, a handheld device is proposed for testing the vigour and viability of the bulk amount of seeds. The hybrid of imaging technique and radio frequency based spectroscopy is proposed for capturing of the seeds data. The data is further analyzed with machine learning (ML) algorithms to evaluate the parameters of the seed such as texture, moisture level and density for the bulk amount of the seeds.
