Qualification/Experience

:

IRSE Officer working in SAG/NFSAG/SG scale with experience in construction earthwork, bridges, track.

The job requirement will include preparation of bids and tenders and execution of projects at

various project sites.

Relevant extensive experience and requisite knowledge in the same field.

The number of years of experience and nature of experience of the officer in the specific area as per requirement will be taken into consideration.

Officer should have good communication skills.

Overall, an officer with a good mix of all of the above shall be preferred for selection.

For Banihal (J&K)

USBRL is the biggest project undertaken by the Railway since independence covering 271 KM from Udhampur to Baramulla. This mountain railway runs through the Himalayas and is called the Jammu-Udhampur-Katra-Qazigund-Baramulla Link (USBRL)

Ircon has made Site offices and Headquarters at Jammu, Sangaldan and Banihal. These have been made with a view to station the officers near to the work site. All infrastructure and communication facilities have been provided at these places.

The works of approx. 1300 Crore is within the scope of Ircon out of which around Rs.7000 Crore of work is still to be executed.

For Katni (Madhya Pradesh)

Katni grade separator bypass line project is a prestigious project of West Central Railway. Upon commissioning of both the directional Up and Down flyover lines, the existing congestion bottlenecking and detention of freight and passenger traffic moving through New Katni junction Yard shall be removed. This project is crucial for timely movement of coal from South East Central Railway and Singrauli side, towards Bina. Said to the longest Railway flyover of the country, this comprises of nearly 20KM viaduct, 4KM retaining wall and the rest being formation in earthwork.
