Advertisement for Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from highly motivated students, who are interested in pursuing research as career and have intention of pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), for a position in the Department of Science and Technology -Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) sponsored research project titled Two-Dimensional Structures for Supercapacitors.

Eligible candidates may submit their complete self-attested bio-data along with passport size photograph and all copies of relevant certificates to the office of the Department of Chemistry, Manipur University or email to francis@manipuruniv.ac.in on or before 30th May (Wednesday), 2018.

Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellowship (one post)

Duration of Fellowship: 1 year (extendable up to 3 years depending on the performance of the Fellow)

Monthly Stipend: As per the norms of DST

Essential Qualification: Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry or Physics.

Shortlisted candidates will be intimated for interview in the Department of Chemistry, Manipur University. Date of interview will be notified personally to the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project. The decision of the committee regarding selection of the candidate will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
